Another gem inside of Tin Can Alley! I got the steak tacos and they were delicious! Great flavors. I love the atmosphere of Tin Can Alley .The service was friendly and fast, this is a great spot! If you have a quick taco craving, this is the place to try!

My first time here, we visited on a Monday afternoon. Ample amounts of parking. It wasn't too busy during lunch, but I may be wrong. There are a ton of other places I'm sure people visit during lunch time. Today was a good day. Got inside and explored the different types of eateries that they offered there. We had never visited any of these so it was hard to choose. Today, we tried On the Flip/Flip Flops. The food was good, some more than the other dishes that we tried. You order your food and then they give you a number and ask where you are sitting. We found a spot inside of the Santa Fe Brewery area and sat in there. Just in case you're wondering, they cook in soybean oil. This is always something I ask before I dine at eateries I've never eaten at before. We ordered the following: Carne Asada taco, Carne Adovado taco, Buffalo Chicken Mac and the Aloha Yard Bird. The tacos were tasty, full of flavor. They are street sized tacos so don't expect it to be a big taco. Two will feed one person for sure! The Aloha Yard Bird was actually moist, since most chicken sandwiches can be dry. This was not dry at all. It was a good sized burger/sandwich. Served on a bun with swiss cheese, grilled pineapple, teriyaki chili aioli. The burger was good, not full of flavor as I would have hoped it to be. I added the fries, but the serving of fries wasn't that much on the plate. The Buffalo Chicken Mac... looks can be deceiving! But this was in a good way! What can I say, it was a pretty good tasting buffalo chicken on top of mac and cheese. It was already appetizing on the menu board. It's hard to find a place that offers that true buffalo sauce flavor. Since, I'm so used to my favorite buffalo wing place in California. Sorry, don't judge me. Haha! But that dish, I'd get again! My experience overall at this eatery was good. Maybe I'll get the fish tacos the next time I visit. Customer service was good too. The cashier was very helpful in our decision making of the food that I chose.

We stopped in for lunch at Tin Can Alley on a Sunday and decided to try Flipflops Beach Grub. We ordered the Aloha Yard Bird with the Green Bean Fries, the Burqueño Burger, and the Hatch Chile Cheese Fries to split. The burger was charred/overcooked and the fries were very salty. The Aloha Yard Bird Sandwich was yummy and the pineapple stole the show. The Green Bean Fries were good, but way too much breading for my liking. All in all, the food was decent but we would eat else in Tin Can Alley before having FlipFlops Beach Grub again.

I've been eager to hit up Tin Can Alley and was craving a good cheeseburger and this did not disappoint! I'll just review this stand here, but so many reasons to try all of the other places. The menu is fairly simple-tacos, burgers, fries, and other snacks. Nearly everyone my group ate here so we tried quite a few things. My burger was perfect. It was well seasoned and cooked. The burger lived up to its name: The Juicy. Sometimes the meat gets lost under everything but not here. Simple toppings of cheese, lettuce and tomato and a little ketchup. Delicious! The sweet potato fries were crispy and had the perfect amount of crunch. The regular fries were good, too. But I'm a fan of the sweet potato fries for sure. My friends tried a few of the tacos (brisket and fish) as well as the chips and queso. Not going to lie, I stole a few chips because that queso was really good. It had the flavor of real cheese and a kick from the peppers. I can see why you may want it on a burger! The place gets pretty packed so I imagine it may be hard for the food runners to find you. I read a few comments about wait times, but in the height of lunch rush, we had our food in about 20 minutes. I'm sure most places here are still working out the kinks after only being open a week....so give this place a try if it's what you are in the mood for. And if Tom is on the burger station, don't hesitate to dive in! No flop for me at Flipflops. All flip!

I tend to forget how great the food at Flip-flops really is. The burgers are cooked perfectly and the fries are incredible. The people taking your order are always nice and the food comes out quickly. The atmosphere in 'Tin Can' as it's locally called is like a more comfortable version of a Starbucks. So I suppose the only thing keeping this place from being five stars is that it's so hard to remember that it's great. Maybe a couple more visits will cement it in my mind.

Wanted some tacos so we decided to get "on the flip" while at Tin Can Alley. We ordered a variety of tacos, a frito pie and some sweet potato tots. The tacos were disappointing. They did not have much flavor, fell apart very easy (only one tortilla) and they were served with a salsa comparable to pace. The frito pie was okay, not bad, but not great. The sweet potato tots were pretty good. A little sweeter than expected. Place wasn't bad, I just don't know if I would order it again. Maybe if the other food stands were closed.

Got the steak asada tacos they were dry. I thought via website a side of queso instead it was supposed to be on the tacos. Never found it and I was not about to go back the second time to correct my order. Should have went to the Cuban place always good and way better.

They call these wings? No clarification if it's boneless or bone in. I was told that 10 pieces come with the price of $9.

Well the service was good and there was a good selection of food to choose from. Ordered the Flip Burger and asked for it to be cooked well-done. When it arrived, it was raw. Seriously, open the burger and there is raw friggin meat. Had to walk it back down to have them hit it agin on the stove. When it finally came back, it was still pink on the inside. Hhhhh.......is cooking a burger really so hard? Anyway, unsure if we will go back.

Visited this place for a lunch break. I was in the mood for a burger, which looks great, but the chicken sandwich caught my eye. The cashier was friendly and nice as she told me that sandwich is her favorite thing on the menu. The food was out quickly (faster than my wife's salad at a neighboring eaterie). I thought the sandwich was very good. Not too big, but not small. The chicken had a distinct grilled taste that made it. The pineapple is a nice touch. I enjoyed it quite a bit. The fries are the frozen variety and were nothing to write home about, but not a deal breaker. On a previous visit, I had the Grilled Chicken Caesar salad and it was excellent. Again, the chicken tasted distinctly grilled, which is nice. Would I eat here again? Absolutely. I usually eat a Cubano at the place two counters down, but this sandwich will be a competitor.
