Great place for breakfast! I like their salads especially the Asian salad, which can be ordered at breakfast time. My husband loves the egg dishes and we both enjoy the fresh coffee. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. I like the decorations and outside patio.

Now you're just some diner where I used to go. A lot of restaurants share this fate, used to be fresh, then started trying to squeeze more money out of less quality.

Food looked better than it tasted. The food was overly salted which made it inedible. The coffee was cold. The service was okay they were not busy and the staff were not very friendly. This used to be one of my go to but not anymore.

We loved this place! The food was great, service was serve yourself (fine by us), but they were really nice and the vibe was cool. We went back twice in our 3 day visit.

I ordered lunch at this location yesterday. There was a lot to choose from for seating. Ordered the Quesadillas and got my table. It took them 20 minutes for them to bring my order out. It was just Quesadillas! I remember when it was hard to find a seat but your food came out - in less than 20 minutes. Will go to wrecks or Dion's from now on...or just go home and make myself a sandwich.

Cashier was friendly and helpful. Restaurant kept very clean. Seating is a good combo of tables, booths, and soft lounge furniture - plus a couple of small metal tables outside. Parking is metered, but I was able to park in the shade on a side street (Tulane) for free. Huevos rancheros were pretty good. Eggs were cooked well, and the Xmas chile was on point. Did not like the papitas; weren't very crispy, and I like my breakfast potatoes to have a nice crunch. Got a slice of the (okay) carrot cake to go ($8.50 before tax - yeesh!), and I'd return to try the coffee...maybe the giant eclair.

There were some outstanding moments, and some significant misses. The Mexican latte was perhaps one of the best lattes I've ever had ! The Keylime pie that a member of our party ordered was memorable. However, my biscuit sandwich was largely inedible. The egg was overcooked, the bacon, nearly nonexistent, and the level of cornmeal in the biscuit itself, made it a crumbling mess. It was not appetizing at all! Another member of our party ordered French toast and while it was good, it was ridiculously priced for two pieces of bread with no side.

My SO and I met a friend for a Sunday breakfast before leaving town. Location was convenient (on Nob Hill). You do have to order at the counter, but they will bring the food to you. I enjoyed my chai and Ranch breakfast. This came with two eggs, two sausages with green chili, potatoes and toast. I normally like hash browns. I wasn't a fan of the potatoes, so didn't eat too much of those, but everything else was delicious! Someone came over to clear our plates as we finished our drinks and conversation. That was nice. I wasn't expecting that since we had to order at the counter. We found parking on the street, right in front of the restaurant and we didn't have to pay since it was a Sunday. Perfect! Nice place to get a good chai and breakfast.

Prices are exorbitantly high for what you receive, while portion sizes have become much smaller and food quality has noticeably declined. $17 for a bowl of rice, tofu and veggies? The owners have lost their minds! Not to mention being complete Trumpies and sending money to his political campaign- if this matters to you, go elsewhere!!
