The most flavorless "Kabob" I have ever eaten. Kabobs usually come with chucks of meat that have been grilled on a skewer. If they are not serving kabobs, they should not name their truck "Gourmet Kabobs". Also, authentic pita sandwiches should come with a flavorful sauce. Usually a yogurt based sauce. Usually they come with Tzaziki Sauce. This food truck has a flavorless cheap, mayo based aioli sauce in place of it. though the people were very nice, I asked the man if it was all chicken breast white meat - he said "yes". My food most definitely did not appear to be, nor taste like white meat chicken. It was shreds of a mostly dark meat chicken. I ate the pita and tomatoes and choked down a few pieces of the flavorless meat, and couldn't finish. My son was the same way. What a rip off - for $17 a piece! $36 down the drain. Came home after the festival and ate toast and peanut butter before bed!

This picture i added of the Doner lamb wrap does not do it justice! If I took a better picture you'd see the colorful fresh veggie combination mixed with the lamb meat and sauce! The wraps and sandwiches served at The Gourmet Doner Food truck are flavorful and delicious! You should definitely stop by Marble Brewery on Montgomery on Wednesday evenings! Along with the wraps and sammies they also serve salads. Choose from chicken, beef & lamb! All are excellent choices! The service is great too! My husband and I grew up in Germany where they make a Turkish Kabob, with shaved lamb, veggies and a light creamy sauce. Been look for a place that touches the surface of what we had. This place has good kabobs. The service we had tonight was great. The flavor was good and the staff were polite. A good experience for us. The only down fall is that for $9, the portion did not seem like something worth $9.

The lady was extremely snappy and rude. The food was way over priced, 10 bucks for a dinky wrap and I get sick after all night after eating. I highly recommend avoiding this big red stupid truck and save your money for actual gourmet food.

Meh. Waited in line over an hour today at the food truck festival. Pita was dry and super chewy, the meat was just ok. I've had better, but might be hard to find in Albuquerque.

One of our favorite food trucks in the ABQ area. Very generous portions and the Doner sandwich is packed full of fresh veggies/toppings. You will not leave hungry. Both the beef/lamb and chicken are delicious. The pink sauce is amazing on the sandwich. Ask for extra sauce to go with the fries. Fries are also done really well. Very fresh and crispy. Not sure why some folks are leaving such negative reviews. We've had great experiences every time.

Jesus. People are so harsh on these reviews. This place is absolutely bomb.com, and I used to be a kebab snob in Germany. I never thought a place in the U.S. could replicate the superbness of Turkish immigrants in Munich making dank-@ss doner kebabs. Dayum! Highly recommended.

We were enjoying ourselves at the folk fest and wanted to feed our family of 6. We decided on this food truck. As my husband was ordering I stepped to the side to ask the woman who was pouring *pre-packaged frozen* French fries into the deep fryer if they fried anything else in the oil and if they're GF. We have 4 members of our family who have celiac disease, so this information is crucial to our health. She said that they don't fry anything in the oil, so I asked if the potatoes were GF. The larger man who was cooking smirked and rudely snipped "if potatoes are gluten free then so are the fries!" The woman chuckled and "tried" not to laugh and they turned away from me. I nicely said "that's not true sir. We have a family of 6 and I'd like to buy your food, but we need to make sure it's safe for us to eat as several of us have celiac disease." The woman turned and said "we're trying to make food here. Can you ask the other guy?" I get it- I went to the side door where they were cooking the food my husband by now had ordered and they didn't want to be bothered. But to laugh and behave as though I'm ridiculous for asking? That's just not cool. Our family will never give money to these people again and we will be sure to share our experience with Albuquerque GF, allergy, and celiac groups because it's clear these people do not have any interest in protecting people with allergies or food concerns let alone being even slightly courteous to someone wanting to pay for their food. Update- the two people who decided to trust the "if potatoes are gluten free- they're gluten free" response from the cook are now sick. One is curled up in bed actually crying in pain. My guess is that the prepackaged frozen fries they were serving aren't gluten free.

Ordered 3 tacos and they wouldn't allow a choice of different meats between tacos even though all are the same price and the menu says choice of meat.

This is the first time I tried this food truck and I was not impressed. I had the chicken kebab on a salad. It looked pretty, but the chicken was very rubbery and had lumps of fat in it. I could not have the balsamic dressing due to a food sensitivity and I requested a substitute, but they did not have anything else. The woman at the window just shrugged her shoulders at me, not even an "I'm sorry", or anything. The price ($10.75) was way too high for what I received. I won't go back.
