We made the hadji for hot chicken. Had the hot and it was hot. Medium next time. This is the best hot chicken we have had outside Nashville where we lived for 17 years. Excellent 3 massive tenders between the two of us with pickles and bread. wish there had been red wine to go with it. We ate in the food court. Service was good and informative. Price 15.99

Sandwich was cold, chicken over cooked and the sauce options have no flavor if you get above a 3/5 spice. Edit- turns out my aversion to the taste of the food may have been a subliminal message from my immune system, I got food poisoning from this trash heap of a stall.

I tried the 2A sliders in medium spicy (which given my lower spice tolerance, I thought that would be more on the hot side for me but instead a "medium" was more like a mild spice-- at least for this former Californian). I will say that 2 sliders was sufficient for all 5'6" of me, but perhaps if you're a bigger person you might want to take advantage of the fries and drink add-on option for like $4 more (the 2 sliders alone were like $12). The sauce reminded me of Raising Canes' sauce, but not zesty like Raising Cane's-- which might be a good (or bad) thing depending on your taste preferences. The chicken slider wasn't bad, just not crave-worthy in my opinion. For one, I think it needed more slaw and sauce. I asked for a side of sauce and still felt like I wanted more moisture in the slider overall. Perhaps adding cheese would have made it taste better... (though for me personally I wish the sandwich would have had some mayo to moisten the bread a bit more). The man taking orders seemed friendly and personable, which I did appreciate, I just was expecting something more from the sliders. The others with me tried different things in the 505; the general consensus was that nothing was all that great except for the smash burgers from another vender (but I did not try them so I cannot definitively say if the smash burgers were actually better or not). KuKri is tucked in the middle of the 505 and didn't have any sight lines from the tables, plus being in the 505 it's kinda hard to rate the ambiance because there wasn't really anything specific to this restaurant.

Well, the chicken tenders in the popular, 'California Burrito' were dry, fried, and petrified. So glad I ordered TWO crispy chicken tenders that were not crispy nor tender. Fairly gross burrito.-The crisp fries inside, also as crispy as a wrung out Bounty paper towel after mopping up that iced tea that was just spilled. The flavors and heat of the numerous sauces were tasty, but this was supposed to have avocado, not a scant of guacamole. I am however excited because this will be the first item I put into my new Reencle composter.

Too pricey, too slow and just not all that great. Tin Can Alley is a pretty great space to meet a friend for lunch - lots of seating of different types. KuKri sadly didn't do it for me (and my friend warned me ahead of time, but I just had to try it). I was the first customer of the day - the place was dead as a hammer - and it still took over 20 minutes to get a burrito. Which wasn't very big or particularly good - not bad, but not even what I'd call "good" . . . and it was $16. A soft drink (with free refills) was $3 and I tipped 25% on counter service (you order at the counter, they text you when it's ready, you go and pick it up at the counter) - the guy working was perfectly nice and was on the ball, but . . . my little two-tender-and-fries burrito and soda (I did get a refill - I had to, I'd drank up all my soda waiting for the chicken to be captured, slaughtered, butchered and cooked - the only explanation I could imagine for the wait) just wasn't worth the $25.56 that I wound up paying for this lunch (if you're playing along at home, you realize that they charged the tip on the amount _after_ tax, which is the wrong and dishonest way to do it - $15.99+2.99+1.47tax+5.11 tip). More food and more flavor in the burrito would have helped the experience. The "hot" wasn't noticeably hot for a New Mexican (I'd asked the counterman about the spice levels on ordering, and he seemed hesitant about recommending the "very hot" level, so I'd gone easy - waaaayyy easy, it turns out - when ordering). Again, Tin Can Alley can be a great spot to meet a friend. And I've been wanting to try KuKri for years - sadly, that part was a let-down. Maybe it's for you - but it's not even in the top ten pieces of chicken I've had this year. And for what I got, the pricing was absurd.

Came last week during the week and this seemed to be the popular option. Got the strawberry refresher (can't wait for the dirty sodas to come out) and I got the hot honey chicken sandwich, while my friend got the regular chicken sandwich. Good flavor combination with the slaw and fried pickles and big pieces of chicken. However, I don't know if it was old oil or just how the chicken is supposed to taste, but it tasted like it was slightly burnt. The drink was also tasty. I ordered the #4 Garden Chicken Salad Hot Chicken with Green Chile Ranch Dressing. I was told it would be a 30 minute wait which I thought was Long for for fried chicken tender salad, but I said ok. After 40 minutes I walked up to the counter to inquire about my salad. I was told it would be right up, so 42 minutes after ordering the salad my order came up. The chicken was not hot (not fresh from the fryer) the Hot sauce was more of a medium. There was NO tomatoes or cheese. I ate the salad and it was ok, but for a fourty-two minute wait with some toppings missing when ordered over 90 minutes before closing it did NOT meet the hype. The staff was nice/friendly, but they were clearly in the weeds. I will give them a second chance but if not drastically improved I might even consider lowering this review to 2 stars. Tin Can Alley had a casual party atmosphere, but they were doing trivia and had music playing loud enough you could not here the trivia announcer very well. Cool Spot, just an off night I hope.
