Excellent hamburgers, fries, and onion rings! And service was efficient and friendly. The wait time was less than 5 minutes. We will definitely eat here again.

$18.29 + tip = $21.29 for a double cheeseburger with a tiny little side of fries. The photo was after one bite of the burger and no bite of the fries. Tasty but not worth it. I think they may have deliberately overcharged me.

I just left a review of Santiago's for their green Chile cheeseburger...and next comes Rex's. If you haven't had Rex's then you NEED to make a trip here. The milkshake machine is hit or miss, but if you're not a burger / milkshake person - you're not missing out. The fries are perfectly crispy and go well with the green Chile cheeseburger. You can taste the history of the burger in each bite. Whatever grill they use is holding all of that flavor haha Be sure to check out Rex's! Twister's is in the same parking...I'm positive you'll make the right decision and chose Rex's lol Rex's and Santiago's are some of my favorite green Chile cheeseburgers in ABQ. I've tried Laguna, Owl, Burger 21, Stackers (way too expensive), Phat Stax, Kosmos, The grill on San Mateo, and Burger Bro's.

Rexs is by far the best burger I've had in Abq. Meaty patties, ooof the cheese and the green Chili is just right. People are friendly. The interior is retro haha but who cares. The food is 10/10. My go to spot for a good burger

The food was okay, but not a lot for the portions. Two of the workers were smoking something that smelled like marijuana out front. And the tables were all dirty. The people were quite nice but it just wasn't nice in there. There must've been a problem with the air conditioning because it was quite hot.

I noticed an unauthorized charge on my card from Rex's Hamburgers and immediately called to inquire. The person who claimed to be the manager was instantly rude and condescending. Before I could even explain the situation, he began interrupting and yelling that it "wasn't their problem" and to call my bank and hung up on me. I simply asked if they could check their credit card receipts to help identify the charge, but instead of assisting, he continued to talk over me as if I were a child. Completely unprofessional behavior--sadly, it seems this is what customer service standards have come to. I will NEVER order from this place again. Shameful.

Another amazing visit to Rex's today for lunch! The girl working the register was so sweet, always great customer service here! My burger was delicious, the DIET COKE IS SOOOO CRISPY AND PERFECT. I love that I get one onion ring with the platter bc one onion ring is the perfect amount. Really love it here and definitely recommend

I ordered a meal by way of DoorDash and did not receive what I had ordered. Additionally, my order was in no way sealed (bag stapled or tied) to indicate it had not been tampered with. When I called and politely provided the information I was hung up on. When I called back to state that I was not expecting any sort of compensation or rectification and that I merely wanted to let them know what had happened as a way to proceed opportunity to improve I was rudely told, then just don't order from us again if you weren't happy. I will not be going back which is unfortunate because they just lost a loyal customer.

I tried Rex's again as they are one of the places I really like for burgers. My burger was delicious as usual. Of course I got the green chile cheeseburger, which is my standard around town, and it tasted delicious as always. My onion rings were a little under done this time. I only got three of them and they were chewy instead of crisp and hot. So that was a little disappointing. I've noticed their portioning has gotten quite a bit smaller and while I do understand it, they don't give you as much food as many of the other burger places around town. Rex's is still tasty and still a place from which I will order from time to time. Hopefully next time the onion rings will be a little bit better and they'll be a few more of them. I'm a little worried about them given that I got the wrong order a couple weeks ago and now the chewy onion rings. I hope they can improve a little bit. Otherwise I'm afraid they may be losing some of their longtime customers like me. I'm still gonna give them another shot though because they're local, I've eaten there for decades, and I love them. My order was ready on time and delivered quickly. Delivery instructions were followed. I haven't been in Rex's for quite some time so I can't comment on the ambience, but it was always a nice little burger spot with ample seating and large windows. Please give this local business a chance. Aside from the green chile cheeseburger, the mushroom swiss is also super yummy.

We went to Rex's because I was craving some chile cheese fries and this was close to where I was running errands. There were not to many people in the restaurant. We sat down but and the food came out super fast. My husband ordered the green Chile cheese burger platter (comes with fries, 2 onion rings and choice of applesauce or vanilla pudding) he chose the applesauce. I got the the chile cheese fries and a grilled cheese. I was not very hungry, and coming back from the stomach flu. The burger had a nice flavor and for the price was decent. The chile cheese fries were very tasty. We would definetly go back.
