First time having vegan sushi. I ordered some rolls but was very disappointed with the rice. The rice tasted like leftover rice: hard and cold. The actual fillings and toppings were quite tasty though.

Also ordered the shoyu ramen. Maybe it’s personal preference but the noodles were a little too soft and limp.

We had a great dinner here before a show. The staff was friendly and our food arrived promptly. We loved our food and will definitely come back and try some other items on the menu. Our favorite dish was the Shitake Truffle Dumplings. We also got the Nutty Buddy Wrap and the Charred Avocado Roll. For dessert we had a special cake and Coconut Mango Sago. All delicious!

What a pleasant surprise!   I did not know this was a vegan sushi place when I first arrived here, and neither did the table next to us, which was four tourists who decided to leave after finding out that there was no fish on the menu. I think this was a mistake on their part because vegan meat and foods have come a long way in recent years and the texture and flavor of these vegan dishes is amazing; if you’re not vegan I’m sure you will still enjoy this restaurant very much.

They also have options like Ramen if you do not want to try the vegan meats.

My friend and I arrived, and we were greeted by friendly staff who were extremely attentive, maybe even a little too attentive for me, and they served us our dishes and meals, MM perfectly.    The Colombian server was extremely nice and recommended which ice cream was the most popular, we tried all three and they were great. The taro had a marshmallow vibe like eating lucky charms cereal.

As far as the rolls go, I will say that the salmon is better than the tuna in general as a meat alternative.  Try it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

Fabulous experience! This is what vegan food should be. Everything was delicious. The crispy, sweet chili cauliflower wings were our favorite. The sunny side up tofu "egg" on top of chili noodles was impressive. And delicious! Great, fast service before a show, too.

There are very few times that I want to give a restaurant a 6-star review, but this is one of those times. Beyond Sushi is phenomenal, caring, and friendly service, wonderful atmosphere, and mind blowing vegan food.

The Korean barbecue brisket is crazy good vegan string meat with a moist and mouth pleasing texture.
Their Pork Shumai is better than real shumai.

It is a great restaurant to come to alone or with a bunch of friends to share and try different preparations all at once.

Helt utsökt! Var i stan för en konferens och var utsvulten på grund av brist på vegetariska alternativ jag snubblade över denna restaurang medan jag svalt och var överlycklig Maten var otrolig och Servicen oklanderlig. Kommer definitivt tillbaka

Kom till denna restaurang med ett sällskap på åtta. Vi provade över ett dussin rätter. De var alla fantastiska. Personalen var tillmötesgående och uppmärksam. Priset var rimligt för fantasifull vegansk mat (t. ex. i samma bollplan som PLANTA eller Jajaja Mexican). Jag skulle komma tillbaka nästa gång jag kommer till en Broadway show.

Mycket varmt, inbjudande interiörer och personal med utmärkta menyval och service. Vi åt sötträdet, brysselkål, majs och en pastarätt. Skulle starkt rekommendera! Vi har besökt ofta under många år och aldrig någonsin blivit besvikna. Önskar att jag hade fler bilder att dela med mig av. Bra läge också.

Det här är nästa gång jag besökt en plats för lunch och middag på samma dag! Och jag gjorde det i New York, där finns så många bra ställen att äta. Maten är så god och välsmakande! De erbjuder flera olika rätter, inte bara sushi. Priserna är mycket rimliga. Tjänsten är bra och snabb. Skulle rekommendera 3 - 4 rätter för 2 personer. Även om vi hade 5 olika saker till lunch. Glöm inte Happy Hour. Vi kommer definitivt att vara tillbaka.

Rekommenderas starkt för veganer och icke-veganer. Sushi har så många spännande smaker och färger som gör den ännu bättre än vanlig sushi (som jag också älskar!)

På ett besök nyligen för att träffa vår son slutade vi skridskoåkning i Bryant Park och var hungriga efter sushi. Vi gick in i Beyond Sushi och förväntar oss traditionell sushi-biljettpris och insåg snart att det var vegan. I stället för att lämna, litade vi på vår server och beställde några rätter. Nutty Buddy wrap, Sweet Tree roll och säsongsbetonade sushirullar var läckra! Säsongens aubergine-dopp serverades med bröd bakat i en blomkruka. . . . så unik. Kudos till kocken som tar bönor, ris och grönsaker och gör fantastiska, hälsosamma och välsmakande rätter. Jag önskar att vi hade en Beyond Sushi i min hemstad. Var inte rädd för att prova!

Hade inte insett att detta var en vegansk restaurang och var lite orolig för att försöka men ess glad att jag gjorde det. Mat, service och renlighet var utmärkt. Tyckte om min första upplevelse av vegan och kommer inte att vara så avvisande av vegansk mat i framtiden

Jag måste säga att jag valde Beyond Sushi eftersom det inte var för långt ifrån där jag bodde och eftersom det var en vegansk restaurang. Superlycklig med valet som älskat både 'kryddig mang' och 'la fiesta' sushis kompletterade med en vattenmelon myntsallad. Lite pricy men värt det!

Stoppade för en sen lunch på grund av en rekommendation och blev inte besviken. All vegansk meny som erbjuder matlagning av hög kvalitet. Sushi rullar, dumplings, wraps, sallader och soppor, allt färskt och snabbt serveras. Vänta personalen var mycket vänlig och uppmärksam. Jag hade kul - kladdklumpor som var fantastiska! . Bräserad porcini, shiitake, portabella svamp, bakad tofu och spenat toppad med mikro arugula och chili rostat panko, toppad med en kryddig bönor och shiitake tryffelsås. Extremt känslig och perfekt balanserad. Jag beställde också Chic Pea sushirullar. Svart ris, rostad aubergine, kronärtskocka och engelska gurka toppad med saffran kikärtpuré och sumac, serverad med Tahini och citronsafronsås. Återigen, läcker. Jag kände också att menyn var mycket rimligt prissatt, särskilt för NYC.

Vi letade efter en japansk liknande plats och denna plats överraskade oss.

Vi kom hit för en sen lunch och åtnjöt allt vi beställde. Tjänsten var vänlig. Chic Peas sushi och Portabella Carpaccio var särskilt anmärkningsvärda.

Jag tog BS upp på ett $ 25 bonus erbjudande på ett 75-tal presentkort köp några månader tillbaka och kom nyligen för att lösa in det. Och pojke var det roligt att beställa $ 100 värt av vegan sushi och mer! Jag tror att jag kom igenom 2/3 av menyn och åt för några dagar, så värdet är definitivt där. Rullarna är stora, men lika uthållna var dumplings och rispappersrullar (mer betydande än de ser!). Fantastisk ingrediens kvalitet och vacker presentation även på carryout. A +

Jag åkte dit två gånger med min flickvän och maten var fantastisk. Alla sina cocktails är gjorda med Sake (jag hade en pepparkorn Martini som var okej - inte den traditionella martini men med tanke på att det gjordes med Sake, rekommenderas definitivt). Sushi är läckra (prova favocado). Du kommer att njuta av platsen säkert. Åh och det viktigaste: hela menyn är vegan.
