Min fru och jag besökte med några vänner innan Thanksgiving förra året och vi hade en bra tid. Servicen var bra och cocktailarna var varierade och hade intressanta recept. Priserna var bra och det var mycket trevligt inredda för jul, vilket var ett plus. Vi hade bara några pommes frites som mellanmål så jag kan inte kommentera maten överlag, men pommes frites var trevligt. Det är en bra cocktailbar överlag och en som vi skulle besöka igen.

Min mamma, hennes partners dotter - in - law, och jag hade en fantastisk middag här efter att ha sett den fantastiska matinéshowen av GYPSY! Dutch Fred's rekommenderades starkt av Sabrina på Hilton Times Square. Mamma tog ett glas Cabernet Sauvignon med en rödbets- och biffsallad. Jag hade den holländska burgaren och mammas väns dotter - i - lag hade den stekta kycklingsmörgåsen. Vi delade chokladmoset till efterrätt. Vi älskade de många juldekorationer. Inredningen görs av personalen och de berättade att de tillför något nytt varje dag till inredningen. Abby var vår server - vi gillade verkligen att prata med henne. Huschefen på en Broadway teater rekommenderade Dutch Freds som en stor stadsdel plats. Vi ville inte äta någonstans trendigt på Times Square men ville uppleva en lokal restaurang och var inte besviken med Dutch Freds. Vi åt på förrättsmenyn och maten var mycket god. Vi båda hade en lätt gin cocktail med en såg begäran som var mycket uppfriskande. Det var varmt och vänligt och hade en mycket välkomnande atmosfär. det var exakt den plats vi letade efter.

Hänger i New York på min (vid den tiden) flickväns födelsedag och vi är alltid på jakt efter bottenlösa mimosas i världens bästa stad! Så vi gjorde vår vanliga Yelp due - flit i slutändan hitta. . . Dutch Fred's. Så här gick det till! 

Atmosfär/utseende: Vi kom hit med vår vän Aaron som alltid är nere för åtgärder så vi gjorde bokningar som var omedelbart hedrad när vi kom. Restaurangen ligger i en mer avlång miljö som många storstadsetablissemang gör. Det är svårt att beskriva inredning här, men jag skulle säga, "modern krog" är hur det kändes. Klinkergolv, ett generiskt tak, lite träpanel och en enda rad lampor lyser upp hela restaurangen, men inte för starkt. Den vänstra sidan av interiören är barstången med bås och andra bordsplaceringar utspridda överallt. 

Service: Jag kunde inte säga vem som tog hand om mig den här gången, men jag är säker på att om jag hade ett problem jag skulle ha kommit ihåg. Jag vet att hon var rolig. 

Mat: Jag mmmeeeaaannn. . bryr vi oss verkligen om maten är mimosas flödar? Det korta svaret är ja, men det långa svaret är ju fler mimosas du har desto mindre bryr du dig. Lol. Men frukost Flatbread var förtjusande. Jag behövde kolhydraterna så det är ett tunnbröd bestående av en mozzarella/cheddarostmix, chorizo, korv, karamelliserad lök, rödpeppar och toppat med 2 soliga - side - up ägg. Jag vill inte ha min pizza SÅ kladdig så jag bytte ut den soliga - sidan - upp action för några äggröra. Som sagt, härligt, mättande och smakrikt. Mimosas var på punkt och inte alltför saftig alls. Dutch's Punch var faktiskt ganska uppfriskande också. 

Värde: Det är New York, men tittut. . $ 30. 00 får du obegränsad mimosas, bloody marys och Dutch's Punches för "90 minuter". Men du behöver köpa en förrätt så du är förmodligen på runt $ 70. 00 max ut genom dörren per person inklusive skatter och dricks. Inte hemskt i den stora ordningen av vad du får!
