I really enjoyed this place. The service and food were exceptional. It's definitely what you would expect from this restaurant. The service was great and the waiter was super attentive.
The seafood dishes, paté, and dessert were especially amazing and I would come back just for those. Many guests also ordered the steak and frites so I'm definitely ordering that next time. For dessert, I highly recommend the petit four sampler, you won't be disappointed!
Overall, a really great experience and definitely worth the money.

I hate to leave bad reviews but Bar Bolud has to be one of the worst solo dining experiences I have had. I had booked a table for an early dinner (4.30pm) following the opera. I arrived 5 minutes early and was immediately shown to my table. The restaurant was very quiet, maybe 4 other tables, and I was completely ignored for 15 minutes. In that time another table came in, had their drinks order taken and drinks delivered whilst I still waited for someone to at least ask me if I wanted some water!

Eventually a server came to my table and I order a glass of wine and some water. I then ordered my food and went for the small charcuterie and a side of fries. The food arrived in 5 minutes, so very quick food service, but my food was put down without any explanation as to what the 4 items selected were, and then the server quickly moved on. The charcuterie was nice and it was a generous portion, which was a positive. I was asked if I wanted a second glass of wine, which was nice and I agreed. Other than this though I would say the service wasn’t great, although it did get much busier from 5pm onwards so I understand that people became busier.

Overall, although the food was ok, I didn’t feel that welcome as a solo diner and I don’t think I would return here.

Dinner out with my amazing twin daughters … everything was perfect. Escargot, pescado a la plancha (in Spanish as don’t recall the French… but who cares what it’s called anyway), prime pork chop … this most amazing cuisine and impeccable service. The desert was indescribable - a frozen grapefruit loaded with tasty gelato and capped with a thin layer of halavah … breathtaking!

I love Bar Boulud. I go there whenever I attend Lincoln Center concerts by the NY Philharmonic and also the NYC Ballet. There is outdoor seating and indoor seating with a great bar and food. I had the French Onion Soup with Balsamic Brussel Sprouts. The Gateau Aux Mures – Devils Food Cake, Blackberry Mousse, and Red Wine Chantilly. One of their Signature Cocktails – La Poire Rouge – Trimbach Poire Williams, Lemon, Pomegranate, Ginger. A beautiful interior tastefully decorated, great atmosphere and excellent staff. One of my favorite eateries in NYC.

I ate here on a Sunday evening.  Dined outside on the terrace. I utilized their 3 course prix-fixe menu. The food quality was very good, the presentation was very nice, and the food was good to me. I loved the melon-burrata salad. Very tasty! Service was excellent, attentive, but not obtrusive. The female sommelier was very on point.
