This restaurant is a rare find—timeless in atmosphere yet warm and inviting from the moment you walk in. It feels like stepping into a place where tradition meets quiet elegance. The menu isn’t overwhelming, but every option feels thoughtfully chosen, leaning into classic flavors with a refined touch.

I began with a baked onion stuffed with fontina cheese and caramelized onion—rich, savory, and deeply satisfying. It was the kind of starter that sets the tone for a memorable meal. The main course was a standout: delicate venison chops, perfectly cooked, served alongside a poached pear that added just the right amount of sweetness and contrast. The balance of flavors was extraordinary—earthy, gamey, subtly sweet.

Before the meal, I had a gin martini—nothing showy, just perfectly dry, clean, and expertly made. Sometimes simplicity is the highest form of sophistication, and this one nailed it.

To close, I was served a glass of dessert wine I hadn’t tried before. It was smooth and fragrant, with notes of ripe fruit and a gentle honeyed finish. It complemented the meal beautifully and left a lasting impression.

Tasty meals, especially the pasta, and a friendly staff. Unfortunately our waiter was not careful, and despite us informing him of our good allergies, the food came covered with seeds.

I had the pleasure of photographing Tara and Mark’s beautiful summer wedding at this fantastic venue, and I highly recommend it! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely incredible. They had their ceremony in the charming upstairs space and hosted an intimate reception in a private dining room within the restaurant. What a beautiful Italian style garden! Love the garden yard! Service and food all good! It’s a good place for dating or hanging out with friends!

The shop was quite elegant and cute. We ordered two pasta. The pesto pasta was terrible, way too much garlic and not enough pesto flavor, they sent it back to the kitchen and added lot more pesto but still wasn’t good enough, probably won’t go back again for the food. 31$ pesto spaghetti, with tax and service fee it’s 40 per pasta. I personally don’t like pasta al pomodoro so I cannot judge it. The staff was extremely kind and generous.
