The kale and apple salad was one of the tastiest I’ve had in a while—light, refreshing, and full of flavor. The chicken meatballs were unique and had a wonderful depth of taste. To finish, the dessert shooters were a fun, delicious treat. Our server was great, though the hostesses at the front desk were a bit rude and ignored us for a few minutes when we arrived. Despite that, it's definitely a spot worth checking out!

Heard a lot about this place and the food was definitely worth the hype!!!

The steak was so soft and juicy, accompanied with the Mac & Cheese it was the perfect combo, good size portions too.

Service and atmosphere were really good, decent crowd.

Not as expensive as one would expect it to be.

Delicious. Everyone at the table loved their food. Particularly impressed with their tofu dish. The chocolate peanut butter cake was ridiculously good. The speakeasy entrance was really fun and the place itself is beautiful and feels luxurious. My main complaint is the it was loud and dark which made it hard to have conversation at a big table. The service was fine but nothing of note and they did bring out the wrong entrée so I had to wait until they made my did while all my friends got their food.

Ok, I have such mixed feelings here. The walk in off the street into the shop is awesome. The entrance with the grand staircase and chandelier was crazy. We sat at the bar while waiting to be seated and I loved it. The oysters were wonderful. The cocktails were wonderful. The rest of the food was eh…ok. Chicken meatballs were dry and bland. The ceviche was not really sure it was ceviche. The desert was wonderful. And our server was delightful. Service was prompt and not rushed. I want them to do better with the food, because I want to love this place

I can't help but rave about my amazing 35th birthday celebration at Beauty and Essex, all thanks to the incredible Manager Edward and Server Aldo. This restaurant surpassed every expectation with its delightful cuisine and exceptional service. When I shared that I had worked there 15 years ago, they went above and beyond to make me feel special, turning my birthday into a truly memorable occasion. I highly recommend Beauty and Essex to anyone in search of an unforgettable dining experience. This place is a must-visit!

Cat var en fantastisk server! Super uppmärksam, fick oss att känna sig speciella, och var på toppen av allt under hela vår brunch. Edwin, en av cheferna, kom över, och jag har aldrig varit så imponerad av en restaurangchef! Det var mitt andra besök eftersom maten är fantastisk, men det blir inte min sista eftersom de helt klart tar träning på största allvar. Tack för en fantastisk tid.

Inte besviken! Vilket alltid kan hända när folk yrar om vissa preferenser! 
Den tomat soppa app var stor ! Den gula crudo var exceptionell! Gubben åt Franska minidip! Toppen!

Vi kom hit förra söndagen för brunch. Mycket udda entré genom en pantbank. Men en vacker restaurang bortom. Vi tyckte att personalen och Servicen och maten alla var utmärkta. Vi gick utanför restaurangveckan menyn så det var också valuta för pengarna. Jag är säker på att vi kommer tillbaka nästa gång vi är i staden.

Eftersom vi satt för våra döttrars födelsedag, vår servitris var mycket oförskämd. Hon insisterade på att vi inte kunde beställa aptitretare tillsammans med våra drinkar. Vi var utsvultna. IT var också kallt på grund av AC-temperaturen. Normalt skulle jag vara tacksam för AC men IT var en absolut isbox. Chefen sa att han skulle sänka IT men han hade en hel restaurang att hantera I. Ett mycket oförskämt sätt. Maten var inte bra förutom de tjetjenska köttbullarna. Mycket dyrt. Välj en annan plats.

Speciell, bra vibe, överraskande mat. Vad kan du begära mer? 
Vi var 4 vänner på en affärsresa chill resa, och rekommenderades att boka denna plats. Det gjorde ingen besviken alls. 
Vi beställde alla typer av rätter, men det mest unika och oväntade att vara perfekt är mac och ost!

Att bo på nedre östra sidan som vi var, våra vänner från Brooklyn gjorde oss en tjänst genom att boka Beauty & Essex för middag - bekvämlighet spelar stor roll i denna stad. 
Excentrisk som inställningen är, vi var väl betjänad av en tidig bokning, vilket till stor del räddade oss från den bullernivå kommenteras av andra, vilket kan överväldiga dem (som oss) som föredrar förmågan till samtal. Bankett sittplatser för fyra av oss hjälpte. 
Och sammanhanget spelar roll - i allmänhet inte vara stora fans av hela "delad tallrik" sak, inklusive den allmänna känslan av oordning som kommer med leverans av tallrikar som köket anser vara bekvämt. Dessutom hur konstigt är det, att så många "delnings" tallrikar kommer i omgångar om tre - när det vanliga runda numret är ett eller två par? 
Som sagt, vi gjorde bra ifrån oss. En burratasallad stod ut - även flera urval av tacos - en tallrik rostad aubergine - och en härlig lätt svamppizza. 
Värt en resa från någon annanstans i staden? Kanske.

Bra mat, bra atmosfär, enastående service — det utklassar alla sina konkurrenter. Det är det bästa jag någonsin haft i NY.

Vilken njutning! Maten var helt fantastisk. Vi älskade delvis kycklingköttbullarna (SÅSEN) , minifranska Dips (så smakrika) och svampraviolin (delikat och läcker). Min dessert var så fantastisk och läcker med sitt körsbärscentrum i denna Entremet som dessert. Ambiance var så roligt och mycket New York. Skulle rekommendera att titta på menyn i förväg eftersom belysningen för äldre ögon är en utmaning!

UTMÄRKT! stor erfarenhet, fantastisk mat och service för mina döttrar 21 street födelsedag. Letar efter en restaurang som innehöll en stor vibe, cool upplevelse och Beauty & Essex var perfekt. Vår fest var 5 21-åringar och jag, mamman som behandlade : ) 2 vegetarianer i vår grupp som var lite oroliga för en tjusig meny, vanligtvis inga särskilda önskemål tillåtna. Men från den minut vi kom, vi fick känna sig speciella, inklusive ett kort för min dotter väntar på bordet. Servitören var grym, kände till menyn väl, frågade om kostrestriktioner och hjälpte genast till med vilka saker som kunde göras vegetariska. De föreslår faktiskt att dela, fantastiskt för NYC. Vi beställde en mängd olika aptitretare vissa anpassade för att utelämna kött. Allas favorit visade sig vara misoglaserad aubergine men älskade den grillade osten & tomatsoppan dumplings (bacon på sidan). Vi kunde ha ätit många fler såna här. Vi beställde bara 2 middagar, vi blev mätta av förrätten, svampen ravioli fantastiskt, och köttätarna älskade kycklingköttbullarna. Specialdrinkarna var supersöta och vi skickade runt dem och alla bra! Självklart var det coolaste desserthjulet, så fint och alla fick smaka på alla godsaker. De tog också med min dotter cupcake utan att bli tillfrågad, äkta överraskning. Min största överraskning var checken - verkligen rimligt för 6 av oss och de lade inte till en automatisk dricks! så ovanligt för NYC men det fick mig att känna mig värderad, att de litar på sin kundkrets tillräckligt för att ge bra dricks, vilket jag naturligtvis gjorde!

Dold bakom den intressanta fasaden av en pantbank komplett med en vägg av elgitarrer, är detta fantastiska, eleganta matställe med vackra kristallkronor och en vägg av lampetter och speglar. Det känns som att bli bortförd till en annan plats som något ur en film! Den stora matsalen ståtar med svängda bås längs sidorna och flera olika arrangemang av bord i hela rummet med högt i tak och ett underbart takljus! 

Serveringspersonalen är otrolig och de delbara förrätter och appar gör en underbar kväll med att dela tallrikar i en grupp. Tryffelmac och ost, kycklingköttbullar, kammusslor och franska dip sliders var bland våra favoriter! 

 Vinet är förstklassigt och specialdrycker är uppfinningsrika och så mumsiga! Chefen, Edward, var fantastisk och helt tog hand om oss när vår mat var försenad. 
Vi hade det mest fantastiska pariserhjulet av desserter och färska munkar att doppa i 3 olika såser! Jag kan inte vänta med att åka igen!

Besökte be&E för andra gången efter ett första besök i februari ‘ 23 . Första gången jag tyckte stället var spektakulärt. Den här gången kändes det något mindre ”speciellt”. Platsen / 2: a våningen var alldeles för varmt och det tog 90 minuter innan luftkonditioneringen gav lite svalka. Delbara tallrikar är fortfarande smakfulla men inte lika snyggt presenterade som för två år sedan. Jag skulle rekommendera: öka ditt spel!

Oktober ” 24 
Anlände och omedelbart drabbades vi av den livliga atmosfären. Fantastiskt! Cocktails beställde i baren sedan i minuter bord / bås var klar. Fick stänga fliken för att öppna en till vid bordet. Vår servitör var utmärkt, visste menyn ut och in och hjälpsam med förslag. Allt bra tills de slog på luftkonditioneringen. Det var iskallt! Vi satt alla med våra jkts på. Frågade en förbipasserande servitör och han fnissade och sa att han skulle säga det till chefen men han tvivlade på att det skulle avvisas. En del av vår mat anlände. Utsökt! . . sedan lite till som var kallt på några sekunder. Vi frågade igen (den här gången till servitören som tilldelats vårt bord) han var riktigt bra, bad om ursäkt och sa att han skulle stänga ner / stänga av. Började värma upp , jackorna lossnade, 10 minuter senare vevades den på igen. I det här skedet var vi deflaterade . Medan han betalade räkningen sades det till chefen, bad han om ursäkt och sa att det är ett problem men de arbetade på det. 
Så synd, hade börjat så bra men verkligen olyckligt på slutet.

Super upptagen på en fredag kväll, trots att ha ett bord reserverat vi lämnades väntar i en heaving bar för att beställa en drink i ca 20 minuter. Personalen rusade av fötterna och för att vara rättvis de gav oss 2 gratis cocktails att be om ursäkt. Men servicen var så bråttom med en av servitörerna som försökte ta min förrätt medan jag fortfarande var halvvägs genom att äta. Vi hade beställt en flaska vin som lämnades i en hink i slutet av rummet så fick fortsätta be om vin att fyllas på. De köpte checken över inom en timme efter att vi satt och sedan fick halsen säga vin som bordet behövdes. 
Maten var bra och konceptet bra... bara förstört på grund av att vara så bråttom!
