Visited this place Friday night with some friends with really high expectations due to the reviews.

Upon entry I was blown away by by the beautiful decor. The energy in the restaurant is lively. Music is pumping, which kind of makes it hard to have a conversation so keep that in mind.

We tried a lot of different dishes so we really had a great array of items from the menu. Some things were amazing and some items were a miss. I don’t eat beef, but my friends enjoyed their meat and steak dishes thoroughly. Our waiter  was charming and gave pretty helpful recommendations which was helpful.

This place is incredibly expensive. Expect to spend about $200pp easily if you are enjoying cocktails with your meal. Def a nice NYC dining experience, but I don’t know that the price tag is worth a followup visit!

Beef bar has a very curated and extensive menu. There is a lot to choose from but it’s all exquisite. Everything my husband and I ordered at beef bar was great. When I didn’t know what drink to order, our waitress suggested a drink and it was amazing. Everyone was so attentive and friendly. Definitely get the Japanese milk bread and the Sandos! 10/10

High quality meat, not a great overall experience.

Food- get the quesadilla! My wife gave me a hard time for ordering this, but it was amazing! The milk bread was also to die for, very soft and a great addition to the overall meal.

We split a larger cut of New York Strip, around $90. The quality of the meat was fantastic and cooked to perfection (rare, truly rare, not overcooked). However, it was crusted in herbs that took away from the meat and made it not worth it. Felt like I was eating pine needles and would have preferred a simple season and sear in butter.

Bacon was fine, not as good as it looked or sounded.

Service was not great. I ordered a drink when we first sat down, drank it with some efficiency and the waiter never asked me if I wanted to order another. For dessert we asked for an espresso martini each, only got 1 which turned out to be a blessing because it was watery and not good. Which was surprising because it looked like they had an espresso machine and that usually leads to it not being watery.

The restaurant has a nice design and ambiance overall. You will be on top of the people next you which has pros and cons. For our date night, it was fun to eavesdrop and have things to talk about on the way home. But also hard to have your own conversation.

My 3 is not a don’t go there. I think by ordering the right things and being more assertive about drinks, you can get what you want.

Beautiful restaurant set in Tribeca that is a little overpriced (as expected).

Beef quality is high - their Sunday roast, burger, French dip all had really great meat. However, the taste and flavoring did not impress. Fries were well fried though, crunchy.

Brussel sprouts were over seasoned, KFC was good, and the crispy rice had good rice but the fish was too sour (?).

Thank you, Preston, for having me at Beefbar! The food was absolutely incredible, and the staff was so polite and attentive. The music created the perfect vibe, and the drinks were on point—just what I needed. I couldn’t get enough of the stunning decor; every detail was so well thought out. Can’t wait to come back again soon!
