This is not Biryani if you’re a connoisseur. No accompaniments, no raita. And they add white sauce and hot sauce unless you ask them not to. Basically trying to tailor it on the New York famous Halal chicken over rice. One can ignore that but it was cold and likely stale. The service was super friendly though.

Ten years later, I'm delighted to find that the Biryani Cart maintains the same high standards that originally drew me in when I worked in Midtown. My personal favorite is their Kati rolls, an irresistible deal at 2 for $10. I prefer mine mild, and even so, they manage to infuse it with just the right amount of spiciness to tantalize the taste buds.

Polite gentleman who served me with a smile! The lamb with salad was $10 and there a plentiful serving of flavorful lamb cubes. The salad was only iceberg lettuce (I asked for without tomatoes). He sprinkled on some green seasoning, hot sauce, and white sauce. It was spicy and tasty! Will come back again!

I was visiting nyc this past weekend and this cart was so special to stumble upon late at night, we followed the delicious smell to the truck! The kati rolls  were delicious and great prices! The biryani was yummy and mild which was nice for a late night bite. The uncle who was working went above and beyond for me my boyfriend and I. He was so nice and I’m Bengali and my bf is not so we don’t experience this same type of generosity and friendliness from other Bangla restaurants we’ve been to in our home state. Also we talked in Bangla for so long and he even offered for us to come stay with him and his family if we were in town again.

Den enda nackdelen är att det inte finns något att sitta för att njuta av den heta måltiden (en vanlig faktor med alla matvagnar) men Times Square är bara en minut eller två bort eller man kan alltid hitta en bänk på gångavstånd.

Akta dig för kopikatter! Det finns bara en riktig Biryani kundvagn och det är fantastiskt! Jag hittade det genom resa rådgivare och betyg är välförtjänta, Biryani är riktigt bra, jag hade det två dagar i rad! Mycket bekvämt läge för turister, rätt nära Times Square, försökte Kati rullar som inte var något speciellt men definitivt rekommenderar Biryani.

Vi tryed bästa kyckling/lamm någonsin med ris och även den seana - rullar. Real och billiga färsk.

Första sak först. . . Det är inte en restaurang, men en mat inköpskorgen. Inga stolar eller bord att sitta. Begränsad meny föremål. . . Och det är där den "inte så bra" saker. . . .
Maten är otroligt god och serveras nylagad och varmt. Jag kommer från Indien så jag vet i menyn och smaker mycket väl. Det påminde mig om maten serverad på några av bra restauranger där ute.
Den kille tillaga mat är en ödmjuk man också. Priset klokt nog den billigaste mat du kommer få och som serverar storlek är bra.
Se till att du äter sin särskilda Kathi på Rullen och ris med kyckling.

Den del storlek var bra för min man och mig att dela (eftersom vi blev inte att hungrig), men det skulle även vara bra för en person. Det är en lagom stort portion, men inte alltför mycket för en person.

Det finns en biryani vagn (på SW sidan av the intersection of 46th och 6th), och det finns en biryani bil vid med NW sidan av the intersection. Vi gick inte till den biryani bil så jag inte talar vid kvaliteten på deras mat, men -vagnen är på SW sida av gatan.

Kundvagnen serverar upp vissa ganska stora smaker och vi älskar det. I sex bucks, du är full och vi ofta promenad flera kvarter från vårt sätt att äta här.
