Food is awesome but the waiter was sleeping and no refill on my tea the third time dining here I had to walk up to a register to pay out. Today they included the tip so this tells me that there taking from tourists and not delivering on service. I normally tip but why tip someone sleeping on the job.

Had a late lunch here on a weekday. The restaurant is no frills but clean. They offer some tasty Viet/Chinese food. I like that each table has sealed disposable wooden chopsticks (the better ones), plastic soup spoons, and small sauce dishes. Water was served in a small disposable plastic cup. Lol. The menu was pretty extensive. This is not a vegetarian friendly restaurant! We got 2 very different noodle soups. The curry chicken had chewy egg noodles. The delicious broth was spicy and reminds us of Malyasian roti canai. The fresh shrimp noodles had silky wide rice noodles. The broth is mild and flavorful. The only complaint is the lack of green vegetables in the soups like traditional Chinese places provide. The spring rolls came out crispy and hot with a generous portion size. The food came out quickly. Prices are reasonable and is a good place to catch a quick meal. The restaurant is cash only.

Incredible Cantonese & Teo Chew food that tastes just like home, including the Teo Chew noodles, marinaded duck, and pork liver/kidney. While the service could be hit or miss depends on the server and the busy-ness of the restaurant, the comforting quality and flavor of the food easily earns a five-star rating.

Heard lots of good things from my friends about Bo Ky. Finally tried it last weekend. My friend and I got 1/4 duck (comes in pretty big serving and is my favorite!), beef noodle soup, mixed pork intestines and Chinese broccoli. Everything tastes great and the serving size is really big for such an affordable price. 100% recommend! (They take cash only)

Gave two  stars but it's really one star so people can see this review.
I thought you couldn't go wrong with food in chinatown. I was wrong.
Customer service at register is just plain rude... asked for the bathroom and the lady just pointed. Asked again and she just pointed again. As if speaking to a paying customer was wrong.
The man who brought my soup was very kind and showed/pointed out the noodle types on the menu.
Sadly, the beef noodle soup was not good. Bland! The chili oil had a strong shrimpy taste to it. Repulsive.
On the menu the soup was $12.
Came to $15 with no reason as to why at check out.
No receipt given.

Det finns i princip bara en Choi Chow restaurang i Chinatown. Vi brukade köpa hem deras Li Shua Duck för en del av middagen eftersom doften av kryddorna var så stark att vi inte stod ut. 

Nu tonar de ner kryddorna eller så har de ett bättre ventilationssystem. Vi åt middag i och vi beställde anka (såklart) , fiskknyte och fisknudlar som dumplingswrapsen och nudlarna är gjorda av fiskfärs. Som föreslagits beställde vi fläskfötterna också. 

Ankan är fortfarande god och fläskfötterna inte möra nog. Fiskknytet är okej och fisknudlarna är under par...

Jag råkade beställa skaldjur med ris och en tallrik med anka kött som kostar mindre än $ 20. Maten var extremt utsökt och fyllde min mage till fullo. Jag älskade denna plats och skulle gärna äta här när jag återvänder till New York.

Unkaracteristically clean och cheery detta i denna "tjock av det" restaurangen serverar billig vietnamesisk mat som är löjligt salig, hög kvalitet och får dig att känna att all kroppsförmåga efter varje smaklig bight. Det är bara så bra. Om du är mer blyg om internationella livsmedel, var inte, fråga frågor och ändra. Med de flesta rätter runt $ 7, vad måste du förlora? Rekommendera nötkött nudelsoppa.

Jag hittade först denna plats ungefär 12 år sedan när jag bodde i NYC, och till den här dagen har det inte förändrats lite. Maten är så äkta och läcker - en sann upplevelse av kinesisk kultur. Nästan alla i restaurangen är asiatiska, vilket är ett testament till maten. Bordservice här är inte särskilt "varm och otydlig", men det spelar ingen roll för det är inte därför du går här. Denna restaurang är en underbar plats för lunch eller middag om du verkligen är intresserad av att uppleva kinesisk mat och kultur i NYC. De människor som jobbar här är bra, snälla, jobbiga människor och det är ett nöje att äta på denna NYC pärla!

Maten var ganska äkta kinesisk mat. De flesta som äter där ser ut som kinesiska och orientaliska. Inte många västerländska turister. Det betyder att det är äkta kinesisk mat. Rätterna är för snabb äta och kostar mindre än $ 10 vardera. Vi gillade verkligen maten där, men lämnade med lite sur smak i slutet vid utcheckning. Vår måltid kostar $ 32 för tre av oss (4 olika rätter) och jag lämnade $ 5 som tips på bordet. Vi checkade ut i fronten och de anklagade mig för att inte lämna tips. Jag sa till dem att jag lämnade kontanterna på bordet och såg en av arbetarna plockade upp den och sätta den i kassan, men de ville inte tro mig först. De gjorde så småningom. Jag kommer inte att gå tillbaka av den anledningen, men jag måste erkänna att maten var bra när det gäller dess värde.

Denna restaurang var my canteen, startade mer än 20 år sedan. Nu är jag inte längre bor i New York, men ändå åka dit varje gång jag kommer tillbaka till NY (vilket är 6 gånger om året) . Varje gång jag åka tillbaka, det håller en förbättrad vad gäller servicen och renligheten, men trots det mat fortfarande smak samma. . . . Bra som alltid.

Jag gillar denna plats mer än de Grand street läge. Förvänta dig inte bra service här. En del av er killar kanske t.o.m. kommer dem ohyfsad - men det är vägen får de och jag är van att det trots det faktum att jag oftast kommer till denna plats efter jobbet med min pojkvän främst för deras soppa nudlar. Ganska bra pris. Rekommenderar starkt deras soppa nudlar. Och jag hörde från min pojkvän att deras duck är också bra så det är kanske någonting för att försöka.

Vi stannade här onsdag eftermiddag att ta lunch. Den server var så menar, inte ens en bra eftermiddag eller leende. Ändå, vad vi beställde var bra i smak och som vi avslutade, vi får kolla där de ingår tips för en grupp på två. Mycket billigt och oprofessionell.

Servitören gav oss en rekommendation för våra lunch måltid, och det visade sig vara bra. Mycket grundläggande inredning, uppenbarligen bra för lokalbefolkningen som vi var de enda icke - asiater som är alltid ett bra tecken! Billiga hak för en bred omväxling soppor och andra rätter.

Detta är prototypen för unadorned utilitarian noodle shop med fantastiska billiga äter. En butik på ett opretentiöst block brukade vara en fiskaffär som sålde levande havsabborre och levande grodor. Det är rent, tändt av fluorescerande lampor. Det finns oändliga variationer på måltider i skål, salta soppor med fiskbullar, grönsaker, kött, allt gott. Det är inte en bra middagsupplevelse, men det är en bra matupplevelse.

Denna opretentiösa - spartanska på resande fot matställe serverar läckra frukostbakverken vietnamesiska rätter från bergsregionen. Jag är besatt av att deras Pho med magdansare kött. Den duck är också ett måste prova. Det blir ännu bättre än i år sedan. Detta är inte ett ställe för folk som förväntar sig uppmärksam serveringspersonal eller en romantisk atmosfär. Det handlar om maten. För, njuta av och lämna snabbt som place är ganska upptagen och bord behöver att slå över snabbt.

Typiskt kinesisk stil snabbt mat restaurang. Den kinesiska i den på affischpelarna utanför tydligt uppger att det är Chaozhou 潮州 stil men det ger vietnamesiska "Pho. Jag beställde Chaozhou fashion fisk boll platt noodle (ris noodle) . Inte den bästa men ganska bra, speciellt den priset är bara $ 5 . 5 . Så jag är mycket nöjd med det. Inte förväntar mig bra service. Menyn innehåller en mängd olika Kantonesiska stil nudlar också.
