Popped in for a properly made Hendrick’s martini shaken (hard) with a twist. Just in the mood, y’know? My order was heard & delivered in less than 5. Quiet. Pure. Pro.

The ambience is leather & woods and aged bottles all round.

I sipped & enjoyed (of course wishing there were a couple more sips for $25.05 but hey..it’s Brandy Library and there ain’t no happy hour here!)

I really enjoyed this place. Be ready to drop some serious money. But talk about service. They walk you through your experience and if anything goes wrong they go out of their way to correct it. I wish I could spend an entire afternoon here.

You go here knowing you’re going to spend some money, and if you’re going in ready to try new things and get expert advice on your new favorite drinks, this place is worth every penny. The atmosphere is amazing, the couches are comfortable, and the staff is friendly, laid back, and exquisitely knowledgeable. I took my partner here because he appreciates quality and uniqueness in his food and drink and is honestly hard to impress, but this did it! I had an amazing boulevardier and he left with a newfound love of sherried whiskeys.

Brandy Library: Unique Bar Experience in NYC

21 år gammal whiskybar i New York och fortfarande stark. Med 1600 plus whisky i en plysch elegant omgivning, är Brandy Library en perfekt plats att ha en trevlig Whiskykväll. Jag besöktes av Salvador, en mycket vänlig personlig bar manager. Whiskyälskare : ETT MÅSTE FÖRSÖKA

Hyrde ut källaren för ett arbetsevenemang. 50 personer. En server. Mycket långsam service och bristande förmåga att förstå hur man gör det till en bra upplevelse för gruppen. Efter att ha spenderat ca 20 . 000 usd en mindre grupp på 9 personer ville äta middag. Endast 6 var tillåtna eftersom de inte betjänar större grupper. Trots att vi erbjöd oss att dela på två bord. Så 3 personer var tvungna att lämna. Katastrof! Fullständig brist på att sätta kunden först. Arrogansen var obegriplig.

Som bourbonentusiast hade jag förmånen att besöka Brandy Library i New York City, och det överträffade verkligen mina förväntningar.

Sammantaget ger Brandy Library en exceptionell bourbonprovningsupplevelse med en elegant atmosfär och konkurrenskraftig prissättning, vilket gör det till ett måste - besök för både entusiaster och nybörjare. Det är en oöverträffad destination i New York för alla som vill fördjupa sin uppskattning för fina spritdrycker.

Jag måste börja säga att jag besöker Brandy Library väldigt ofta. Det är väl beläget, pålitlig, vanligtvis bra service, bästa spritsort i NYC, elegant, tyst, bra cocktails. . . 
Vi fick tillsammans med några vänner att ta en festlig drink men det var långt ifrån vad vi förväntade oss. 
När vi kom dit (med en reservation) fick vi veta att de hade en privat tillställning så att de skulle sitta oss nere. På övervåningen är trevligt, elegant och elegant och ljuset är dämpat. Nedervåningen är grottig och MÖRK, påminde mig om nedre loungen på Macao Trading Co eller till och med Buddha Bar Lounge i Meatpacking distriktet tillbaka i slutet av 2000-talet
Som väntat, eftersom de flesta av personalen var fokuserade på den privata händelsen på övervåningen var det mycket lite aktivitet där vi var. Servicen var inte på något sätt dålig eller långsam, det kändes bara som om hela stället var stängt och vi borde inte vara där. 
Hur som helst, det är ett bra ställe och jag kommer att se till att ringa nästa gång och se till att det inte finns någon privat händelse.

Interiören är lämplig och välkomnande med en bibliotekstil. Och tyst. Valet av sprit är överväldigande, allt från rimliga till mycket dyra. Även om mat finns tillgängligt är den begränsad men acceptabel. Två aptitretare som vi beställde fanns inte tillgängliga (det var 04:30 på eftermiddagen). Maten tog evigt att få. Servitören var kunnig och fyllde oss iin om de olika blandningarna en sprit. Kommer definitivt att gå tillbaka. Förhoppningsvis kommer de att lösa matfrågan.

Tjänsten var verkligen ovänlig, från mottagning till avresa. Drycker tog sig för evigt att komma, även om platsen inte var upptagen.
Så mycket tävling i NYC, de agerar som om de är de enda med en spritlicens.

De har ett respektabelt urval av konjak och whisky.

Denna exklusiva bar ligger i hjärtat av Tribeca-området i NY. De kallar sig själva för en ”institution för fin dryck” och så är det. Efter att ha gått in i denna eleganta anläggning utstrålar den klass med sina läder sittplatser, koppar bar och belysning, och väggar som liknar ett bibliotek men i stället för böcker uppvisar god sprit. Så fort du går in i den här loungen vet du att du är ute efter en sofistikerad behandling.

Vi valde platser vid kopparstången och vi fick omedelbart en mycket tjock meny för läskedryck. Det är som att få en bok som du behöver studera för att testa i spriten! Listan är lång! Jag valde Santa Maria som är en gin-drink med Saffron enkel sirap och toppad med champagne och en orange godis. Min man beställde sin vanliga, en smutsig martini. Denna raffinerade bar var ett nöje att koppla av och njuta av en smaskig cocktail. Jag rekommenderar starkt Brandy Library!

Efter 13 år gjorde vi äntligen turen till Brandy-biblioteket för ett nattlock ... och vi är glada att vi gjorde det. Ett omvandlat bibliotek i en unik romantisk miljö har ett otroligt stort utbud av brandy och skotska som även de största finesserna skulle avundas. Stor nog för att sätta stora grupper eller par, den fascinerande flaskan - fodrade väggar transporterar dig till Speyside där du kan njuta av en mängd drinkar som varierar från rimligt prissatta till väggen dyra. En mycket trevlig upplevelse i Tribeca.

Jag har gått till Brandy Library i många år i min sporadiska resor till New York City under de senaste 8 - 10 åren. Det är andra gången i år och jag skulle vilja ta en minut att skriva en recension, eftersom det är en av våra favoritplatser att varva ner efter middagen.

Först är valet av whiskyer helt enkelt imponerande. De har underbara flygningar i alla prisklasser som gör att du upptäcker nya saker varje gång. Min fru säger också att cocktailen är fantastisk men jag är verkligen inte in i det. Tjänsten är också verkligen imponerande, som sagt, vi var där två gånger i år och vår servitör Salvador kom ihåg oss från förra gången 6 månader sedan. . . Imponerande!

Vi kommer definitivt tillbaka nästa gång vi är i stan. . .

Så, efter en session med Mini Golf på Pier 25, bestämde jag och min UN Diplomat-vän att besöka denna plats för att smaka på några av de finaste whiskyarna, efter rekommendation från en annan gemensam vän.

Atmosfären på platsen är vacker och det eskorterar dig tillbaka i tiden på ett lugnande sätt. Vi satt på soffor som föreslogs av deras kundchef och jag beställde en whiskyflygning och min vän beställde en japaner? whisky. Efter våra drycker serverades för oss och vi njöt av dem, en av servitörerna gick upp till min vän och hade uppriktighet att skämma honom för att inte hålla sitt whiskyglas ordentligt på coster. Jag citerar den servitören "vet du inte hur man hanterar ditt glas? Vad tillhandahålls kustfartyg? ”

Detta kommer från en servitör till en Senior UN Diplomat! Jag var förskräckt och förskräckt. Men min vän är den erfarna diplomaten han är, bara log och ber om ursäkt till servitören.

Men hela vår kväll var bortskämd av den där dumma handlingen av denna servitör. Min vän betalade räkningen och tippade den servitören med sitt oacceptabla beteende och sade att "andras beteende aldrig skulle definiera vad vi är".

Hur som helst, jag är ingen Mahatma Gandhi och det var mitt första och sista besök på den här vackra yet nedslående platsen.

Vilken bra plats att spendera en kväll njuter av det bästa av bruna vätskor! Inställningen är vacker, bekväm och väldigt gynnsam för avlindning och andning djupt.

Servrarna är experter och urvalet är till synes oändligt.

En underbar plats för par eller 4-6 vänner att sitta och njuta av en kväll tillsammans!

Om du är en whiskyälskare, missa inte ett besök på denna extraordinära plats. Det är helt enkelt film magi!

Min nya favoritplats för att få några dramar i NYC. Bartender var stor. Det är helt enkelt fantastiskt valet av sprit som de har och kvaliteten på maten bara komplimanger den.

Gick för en stor biff och vandrade förbi denna plats som hade rekommenderats av den otroliga personalen vid Eleven Madisson Park. Fantastiskt urval av brandies och whisky. Cool atmosfär och bra service. Älskade det.

Jag träffade vänner här för en drink innan de gick ut på middag. Jag är inte en brandy drinker så jag var intresserad av att se vad som erbjöds. Det var mer än bara brandy. Jag blev hälsad av vänlig personal, kappan kontrollerades och jag var omedelbart sittande medan jag väntade på mina vänner att gå med mig. Det finns bar sittplatser och lounge sittplatser. Rummet är humörligt och svagt upplyst, det hade en stor värme om det på en kall januari kväll. En bok av brandy (och fler) val var placerad före mig och jag hade ingen aning om var man skulle börja.
