Buca is one of my favorite “franchise style” Italian restaurant.  This location is located on the third floor of the same building Planet Hollywood is located.  Once the elevator door opens the environment of the old Italian decor makes you feel like you are going to a nice family Italian dinner.  The food is really really good.  We ordered the salad along with the large Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken and the Large Spaghetti with Meatballs (which the size and flavor of the meatballs is what they are known for).  The meals are family style meals so it’s sharing portions. For example our Large Meatball meal easily served all five of us and about 1 pound of pasta was still remaining after we were full! The meal was terrific as well as the service we received.  Overall this location is another must visit when in NYC.  😉

Nice family style Italian dining.  Easy to order too much food.  Wish the bruschetta were less cheese and more -- anything else.  Spinach Artichoke Dip is good but unremarkable. The Chicken Parm is large portions and the sauce is fresh tasting and flavorful.  The Baked Rigatoni has nice pieces of sausage and ice cream scoops of ricotta cheese.

The food was awesome, the service not. It took a long time to get our drinks, to get bread to get refills and then to get our check. We actually had to ask another waitress and waiter for assistants. To top it off the place was not even busy, we felt we should have had better service. It was disappointing, but still giving a 3 because the food was great.

Shareable portions at low prices and the food is good! Got to try several dishes and the family loved it. Definately recommend it and by far the best value in Times Square. The decor added a great italian atmosphere and the waiter was great. Place is huge and able to accomadate and feed any size party.

This place is pretty quiet and lacking of customers. Lack of customers and the dining room set up doesn’t allow the wait staff to be immediately attentive to their customers.  Food is pretty good so props to the chef. Had the spinach shrimp linguine. Was quite tasty. Lots of promotions can be found online for this place.

Vår första gång här. Det är golvet ovanför Planet Hollywood! Vi kommer tillbaka nästa gång vi är i NYC. Bra mat och bra service. Hoppa över Planet Hollywood och gå till tredje våningen och ät här!

Gick till denna restaurang efter att ha hört bra recensioner från mina vänner. Jag hade räkor linguini och spenat plattan. Det var smaklöst och inte efter min smak. Jag har bättre pasta på Olive Garden och till ett rimligt pris. Vi spenderade över 100 $ och jag var inte nöjd. Han gillade i sin tur det.

Även om det är en "kedja" restaurang, är maten mycket bra. Atmosfären får dig att känna att du är i Italien.

Du går till Planet Hollywood och tar hissen upp till Bucca. Det fanns massor av mat som erbjuds - serverad familjestil. Två olika sorters sallader, spaghetti, pasta med vit sås, skålar med köttbullar, Cheddar potatis. skivade tomater och mazzerella - två olika sorters efterrätt.

Jag var med en grupp på totalt 70 mellanskolor och deras familjer. Vi hade preordered. Tjänsten var ok och maten var ok. Det såg ut som om det var premade, inte varmt, som att det hade suttit ut. Inget speciellt.

Ingen topp hylla vätska alls. Inga kalvkötträtter.
Kyckling var som skaka n bake rullade upp. Ingen tjänade mig medan jag stod i baren i 10 minuter. Ingen annan var i baren heller. Jag kan se varför! Restaurangen var mindre än halv full. Väldigt besviken. Detta brukar vara en trevlig restaurang, nu är det som en low end Howard Johnsons. Eller om HoJos är bortom din åldersfäste då en mycket låg Applebees.

Vi åkte på en fredag kväll, men restaurangen var inte trångt alls så vi kunde sitta genast. Vid ankomsten, var vi inte hälsade och ignorerades av flera anställda innan vi äntligen satt. Som tidigare nämnts, restuarant var inte trångt, men värdinnan fortsatte att sätta oss direkt bredvid en stor och rowdy grupp som hade sina grejer i båset där vi skulle sitta och tänkte inte att flytta sina tillhörigheter. Vi begärde en tom tabell några sätt bort från gruppen, men efter att ha väntat i 15 minuter för någon att komma till vårt bord för att hälsa på oss och ta våra beställningar beslutade vi att lämna. Jag älskar Bucca Di Beppo, men kundservice på denna plats suger! ! ! !

Jag följde min döttrar klass här på en resa till Big Apple. Vi hade reservationer men var lite tidigt, men de satt oss fortfarande - en ganska stor grupp - snabbt. Vi hade bröd och drycker vid vårt bord snabbt och det var oh så bra. Vi har varit ett par år genom åren som ett par. Det var alltid någonstans vi älskade att gå sitta på happy hour få några drinkar och snacks och slappna av liv och rörelse ett tag. Vi hade berättat för vänner och familj om det och de älskade det också när de besökte. Vi berättade för vår son om det och han såg fram emot att gå och så vi är vi. Vi hade rest från Skottland. Vi gick in under dagen runt 1 (inte en kund på plats) och vi frågade om happy hour fortfarande var på senare etc och flickan sa att du självklart kan du komma tillbaka mellan 3 och 7. Så gjorde vi det. När vi gick in (igen inte en kund på plats) såg en dam med en bulle i håret ganska kort mig upp och ner i flera sekunder utan att säga något hon började gå på baksidan av restaurangen. Vi antog att vi skulle följa. När hon gick på plats vi frågade kunde vi inte vara i ett tomt hörn kunde vi sitta nära baren. Hon huffed och gick oss till baren, placerade menyerna och gick bort. Återigen säger inte mycket. En man tog över som var trevlig. Vi sa att vi bara var i för några happy hour-drycker och några platta bröd etc. Han sa att han inte kunde ge oss det som vi var tvungna att sitta på barstolarna och vår tonåring var inte tillåtet. Han sa att om det var upp till honom skulle han men han sa att han skulle komma i trubbel av chefen. Vid denna tid stirrade damen i bullen fortfarande mig upp och ner från baren. Vi kände oss så ovälkomna, verkligen obekväma och fick gå. Ingen talade till oss. Bara om oss till varandra när vi gick till hissarna. Skämma på er. Jag förväntade mig så mycket bättre! Det faktum att du var så tyst visar att denna plats har förlorat sin charm.

Jag gjorde reservationer för denna restaurang, men när vi kom dit var restaurangen tom. Middagsdelarna är stora, anpassade för minst tre personer. Maten är genomsnittlig, och vi beställde kyckling parmesan och kalvkött parmesan som var mycket kraftigt breaded. Tjänsten tycktes ta för evigt. Jag skulle inte åka dit igen.

Vi var på humör för italiensk mat, men alla reservationer togs för det mesta av kvällen. Så vi gick till baren och beställde ta ut. Du måste beställa stora mängder för uttag så vi planerade att ha det i flera dagar. Våra hotellrum hade ett kylskåp och mikro så det var inte ett problem och vi fick vår italienska fix! Plus maten var mycket bra - som det stora antalet reservationer visat sig.

Beläget mitt i Times Square av Planet Hollywood. Mycket kul atmosfär med bilder på väggar och röda rutiga dukar. Maten var stor och serveras i stora portioner. Tjänsten var mycket uppmärksam. Skulle komma hit igen!

Inga klagomål alls, allt var bra!

Vi bestämde oss för att äta här eftersom vi behövde äta tidigt, för att hinna spela. Jag har ätit på ett par Bucca di Beppo och alltid haft en god måltid och erfarenhet. Jag borde ha hoppat över det här. Vi hade den auberginen och inte kunde äta det, det var var tvungen att skära även med en kniv. Jag kan inte klaga om service, servitören gjorde sitt jobb, men heller källan på produkten eller kompetens av kocken saknades. Hoppa över det här och gå ett fridfullare ställe annat.
