After a month of trying, we finally got a reservation at Carbone. The ambiance was perfect, and the service was attentive and professional.

We ordered the Spicy Vodka Rigatoni, Veal Parmigiana, and Mario’s Meatball. The rigatoni’s sauce was exceptional, though we were disappointed it wasn’t fresh pasta. The veal was just okay, while the meatball and mozzarella stood out as highlights.

The biggest letdown came when the staff surprised us with a “Happy Anniversary” ice cream dessert—only to add it to the bill. We hadn’t ordered it, making the gesture feel cheap and transactional.

Overall, Carbone was good but didn’t live up to the hype. For the long wait and high expectations, we left feeling underwhelmed.

I had a very pleasant experience for it being my first time!

The entire staff was exceptional hospitable. I was promptly seated by the kind hosts and our waiter Mark M was amazing! He assured us that our food was prepared accordingly to my fiancés food allergy, was extremely nice, patient and checked in on us frequently to make sure we were enjoying our meals. He provided an exceptional service that I don’t see too often.

The food was delicious! The Caesar salad was fresh and one of the best I ever had. Although every plate was delicious, I was a little disappointed in how frugal they were with the ragu sauce for the tortellini. It was a little runny, and did not have a lot of meat.

Other than that, I think Carbone is definitely worth the experience, and I’m very pleased!

So so good! The service is great and old school Italian. The portions are huge! Can’t stop raving about the baked clams, vodka rigatoni and veal parm. We are having a private dinner at Sadelle’s, which is catered by Carbone. They helped us make a reservation so we had better idea of what to pick for the private dinner. We tried a lot of things and was comped a few sides as well. So much better than I ever imagined. If you can get a reservation this place is a must!

Carbone is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. They really hit the mark in every way. From the quaint but vibrant atmosphere, impeccable service and absolutely delicious food.
Our server Antonio was on point. Great suggestions, speedy service with a friendly touch.
The burrata with caviar was my favourite dish with its complex and tantalizing flavours.
The Veal parmigiana was also incredible with a tasteful presentation.
The warm mozzarella (not on the menu) was also a special treat.
I’d highly recommend the Caesar salad and the spicy rigatoni as well.
Carbone is a special experience with impeccable service and fantastic food.
I highly recommend it.

Really outstanding experience. Prepare yourself for incredibly rich, filling, and friendly food. Very intimate vibe with wonderful ambience. Definitely try the spicy vodka rigatoni, as well as the prosciutto and mozarella.
