Quality meat in a relaxed dim atmosphere. Nice place for group dinner however don't come too hungry because there was quite a wait time for entrees to come out (over 45 minutes). The servers were friendly and attentive though and the desserts were all delicious.

Stopped by for happy hour and had a great time!! Excellent customer service, all of the bartenders were so nice and welcoming!! The food was amazing! The oysters 10/10 the salmon rice cakes 10/10 the waffle fries with truffle aioli 10/10 the drinks were also good but I just wish they had more options for happy hour. Had a great experience and I can’t wait to go back

Food was amazing but…..
We had the wagu porterhouse, mac & cheese and cream spinach which were all delicious. We also had the ceasar salad which was too tangy and taste mostly like lemon. As for the service it wasn’t great, our waiter wasn’t attentive and kept walking away from us mid conversation every time. We were there celebrating our anniversary which we provided info at the time of reservation and also let him know and we didn’t even get offered a dessert menu to make our celebration complete. I’m big on good service and this place did not provide it especially on a special occasion so for this reason I will not return nor recommend.

Upon entering Catch Steak in NYC, we were immediately greeted with the warmest of welcomes by the attentive bartenders and treated to their remarkable $1.00 oysters—insanely amazing indeed. As we savored our drinks, we delved into a fascinating conversation about Uncle Nearest Whiskey, and that's when we met Mr. Sherief ,undoubtedly one of the finest managers in the annals of NYC dining.

The reason for our visit was a celebratory dinner for my sister-in-law's birthday, and the evening only escalated in delight from there. Our appetizer, the Pretzel Bread, was simply the best I've encountered in my extensive New York dining history—and I'm a born and bred New Yorker, not just a transplant! For our main course, my wife and I shared a succulent Porterhouse for two, while the birthday girl opted for the 12oz prime bone-in cowgirl ribeye, which she declared "melts in your mouth."

The pinnacle of the evening came with Mr. Sherief’s exceptional recommendation for dessert: the Banana Foster Baked Alaska, whose presentation was as stunning as its taste. Mr. Sharif's keen eye for detail and dedication to exceptional service greatly enhanced our dining experience, making it a memorable evening for all.

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Sherief and the entire team at Catch Steak for making our special occasion truly extraordinary. We eagerly anticipate our next visit!
