great restaurant especially for midtown! service is very friendly and the naan is so good. the seating is also good but i wish the lighting were a bit less sleepy. overall i would come back

Every time I visit Manhattan, I include Chola in my itinerary. It’s one of the best Indian restaurants on the island. It’s also important to mention that both the service and the atmosphere of the establishment are impeccable. Its location: unbeatable.

I ate everything then remembered to take pictures. The food was good, but it wasn’t as spicy as we thought it was going to be, but that’s okay.

Asked for Happy Birthday dessert and they gave us a Happy Anniversary plate.. awkward.

Get the garlic naan!! We used it to sop up the curry instead of getting biryani and it was so worth.

Alc is really good. They had King Fisher which is so hard to find in the US (from where we’ve looked) and we only find it in India. Mango marg is always a hit and the Sour Apple Martini tastes like candy :)

I dined yesterday with a reservation of 11 people and was very pleased with the service at Chola. The staff was courteous, helpful, and professional in organizing the large party. They went above and beyond to ensure that our gluten free guest had plenty to eat. The food was divine. Truly one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in the city. Chola is a gem by all standards. Thank you for having our party in and thank you to the servers and management for your hospitality.
