Occasionally will go for breakfast. Have been doing the oatmeal becasue it's cheaper, decently healthy and I enjoy that they offer regular and with coconut milk. Imagine my surprise and disgust today when I saw both canisters filled from the same one from the kitchen, so much for one regular one coconut milk. The cashier initially refused to believe me, then said she would "talk to someone". What if someone has an allergy or sensitivity? What if someone is trying to stick to a diet? If you don't want to be bothered doing what you advertise, don't offer that option. This was not a special request that required them to go out of their way, its something the restaurant themselves offer. Shame on the sheer laziness and blatant disregard for customers. I can only imagine what else they're trying to pass off and get over on their customers.

The guy with the cart down the block is way better. I didn't expect much but the hot food was just not good at all. I ended up pulling it in the garbage.

We were finding a place to eat while walking around and I saw this place and we went in. I regret going to this place as there is no line to order, the chefs will attend you when they feel like it. The seating area is disgusting and I had a hard time enjoying my food. We paid $54 for 2 Philly sandwiches and a buffet order! It surely didn’t taste like the price we paid. Please save yourself the disappointment of eating here and look into different places to eat. Not to mention the windows aren’t clean and there’s trash all over the floor! The cashier women are incredibly rude as well. I didn’t truly understand the importance of having clean windows when I worked at Frank Pepe’s but now I can understand why. Eat somewhere else.

Too expensive for 2 trash plates, I paid $55 for just 2 breakfasts with scrambled eggs, sausages, and potatoes. The quality is really bad, and the place is awful. Not to mention they only give you 20 minutes to eat, if you take longer than that the cashiers, who are super rude, start yelling at you.

The two ladies who ring you up in front are very rude. Everytime I come into the store they always stare at me with a nasty look on their faces as if they are scowling at me, maybe I am too dark to be in their store? My last straw was when I picked up a lunch order, I stand in line like everyone else, I get ready to pay, and because I’m reaching into my bag to take my money, the lady who’s ringing ME up, cancels my order and decides to ring up the white man behind me, as if I was going to take an hour to pull out my wallet. This is a POORLY RUN & HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL establishment. As a black woman I felt targeted and attacked in this store and after that day, I never went back to this place to eat. The food isn’t good either, no bathrooms and it’s not properly cleaned. The people who work here need to learn about racial discrimination laws and customer service. I will be reporting to the better business bureau, and I will never spend money and this racist establishment ever again. It’s a shocker that this happened to me in July of 2023. Very appalling.

När jag arbetade på LaFayette street skulle jag gå till denna deli varje dag. Maten är bra för priset och det var värt att återvända till.

Vi Åkte dit flera tid, och varje gång det var mer en besvikelse än den föregående. För dyr mat, arroganta attityd, semi-rent ställe. Det finns en menar äldre dam på golvet med en förkläden som följer dig runt förmodligen så att du inte stjäla någonting, och skäller du om du försöker plocka något som sticker ut av urvalsprocessen till exempel, om du försöker få mer tomater i din sallad, hon ligger precis där till stopp dig! Och inte ens försöker att be om kryddsåser. Jag frågade henne om hon kanske skulle få den tomma salladsdressing flaska fylld, och hon bara skrek på mig om att det var inget mer. Det finns inga mer salladsdressing på en salladsbar?? Sedan bad jag kassan för det, och åtminstone hon var vänlig och sa till mig att be deli människor som så småningom gav mig lite och undrade varför jag inte använde den på salladsbaren. De var överraskade när jag sade att jag fick veta att det inte fanns mer av det. Oh, och till toppen om off, hon kommer att sluta du varje gång du får en läsk som är det var meningen att komma med din måltid om du betalar mer än vissa belopp. Måste ni bevisa för henne att du förtjänar det, har hon att kontrollera med kassörskorna som inte ens ge dig ett kvitto! Om hon är ska checka, skulle man tro att du skulle få ett kvitto att visa för den person som beviljar dig att få en. Irriterande ställe helt och hållet. Det finns massor andra platser i området för liknande eller bättre mat med mindre krångligt.
