Amazing Food. Great service. Everything was really good.

Had the yellow fish sashimi, the pork belly and the bulgogi sliders. Just delicious. Great combination of flavours. Can highly recommend the sashimi and the super tender pork belly.

Hidden gem in 52nd street!!! Been coming here for years but then it burned down and I am sooooo happy to see that it’s open again!! The food has the same if not better quality than before. We ordered the whole menu and the service (Enrique, angel, and Ricky are so sweet) everything is so amazing!!

I have specific complaints about the male server covering the table dinning area on Jan 11:

1. The server helped other guests hang their coats but told my party to do it ourselves.

2. The server explained menu for other guests but not for us, and did not offer a tasting although we ordered wine.

3. The server checked upon other guests sitting besides us on their dining experience throughout, and did not ask us anything.

All of these are pretty standard service that should be offered in an eatery charging tips. I have no idea why this gentleman behaved like this, as I was sure my party had never met him before and the only distinguishing feature between us and the other guests was race.

Service from the other team members was fine (greetings from arrival and departure, introduction to the seating area, etc.). The food was good for the price and portion, but can use more thoughts on the seasoning. I understand that this is a reopening and the team requires training, so I urge Danji team to address the service problem of some certain team member, to not let him drag the whole team behind.

We ordered the course menu for 4 people and the food was nice. The amount of food was a bit too much, and chicken is not a really traditional type of chicken in korean style.
But overall foods were nice, quite fancy.
I think it's also good to order a la carte menu as well.
I love the moods, and want to visit again!

Solid service, but our experience was otherwise disappointing. We ordered the tasting menu and found it severely lacking in both texture and contrast.

The one saving grace was the opening sashimi with salad and a spicy tteokbokki-like sauce. This dish we found well-balanced, albeit lacking a dash of salt to highlight the spice.
