Got in line on a Friday at 4:26p for a 5p open and they started letting people in around 4:45p. Lined moves fairly quickly and we got our sandwiches at 5:30p and were able to eat standing up (squished) inside.

Cheesesteaks were delicious. Not dry, meat to bread ratio was perfect, and the sandwich was big. The bread was divine - soft, but held its own and not too crusty.

Cooper sighting was the cherry on top.

I lived in Philadelphia for a few years and indulging in the cheese steak sandwich culture is one thing the things I did during my time there. After hearing the hype around this joint I was really curious to try it out. Waited in line for about 30 minutes after getting there 30 minutes after it opened at noon. There's no customization and you just order your sandwich. Then the 20 - 40 minute wait for the sandwich. They do sell out rather quickly. The sandwich itself after all the effort is pretty darn good! The bread on this thing hits it out of the park. A good cheese steak imo is all about the bread and this bread does just that in carrying the cheese, steak and onion filling for that classic South Philly cheese steak experience. Having had many a cheese steak during my time in Philadelphia, I can most definitely say this sandwich is by far one of the best when compared to institutions like, Tony Luke's, Jim's of South street that are in Philadelphia. In NYC, this is the best place for an authentic Philadelphia cheese steak atm.

The fresh baked bread is crunchy and soft and the steak is great!
The chopped cheese is in the minor leagues compared to this sandwich. It’s baffling to me this place doesn’t have a 5.0 rating. Love me some Philly special

The place was super crowded but what do you expect with a backing and part ownership and the chance of spotting Bradley Cooper haha.

Getting back to my experience, it was great.  I won't hold this against them, but I of course went on their last day of the year and it was freezing outside.  The place is packed and we were having to wait outside.  Once I got in to place my order, I was the very last person to get one. I couldn't order for my family because they had ran out but I come out with one cheese steak sandwich. They had to announce to everyone else that they ran out and would return in January. It took about 30 minutes which was fine because it was fresh. When I got the text that it was ready, the super sweet lady inside asked me if I was the guy who couldn't get enough subs for the rest of my family, they had counted wrong and had a few more left. I thought that was so nice of them. The cheese steak sandwich was great! Lots of flavor and nice portion. They will do great and the experience will be even better when the hype cools off just a little. Check them out next month.
