A classic Italian restaurant that has been around for a very long time. The restaurant is old but cozy. The bar is a classic and Dante is known for its cocktails. Menu items are a modern version of the Italian classics. Food was good and service was excellent. This establishment has indoor and outdoor seating

Staff was very friendly in allowing and accommodating us with arriving late to our reservation. To start, the appetizers were phenomenal. Delicious and full of flavor. Drinks were quite strong where we were 1 and done. However, amazing cocktails ! Pasta was so fresh and cooked to perfection. Protein choices paired very well with pasta sauces and noodles. Would return and recommend !

Wow.

I found out about Dante in 2018/2019 as they began to will global awards and wanted to go ever since. Living in Brisbane, this was going to take some time to achieve. But with my wedding in 2024 we had a chance to head to NYC for our honeymoon and we got a booking at Dante. They say you should never meet your hero’s, well Dante didn’t disappoint. Not only was it the atmosphere we expected the food was beyond what the expectations where, a cheeky little glass of sparkling as they knew it was out honeymoon was a great touch and our waitress was great.

Don’t skip on the fluffy orange.

Well done Dante, we went to another “world’s 50 best bars” from the 2024 awards. You won as far as we’re concerned.

The food and coffee at Cafe Dante was wonderful. My husband and I shared the banana bread(best I’ve ever had) and the Omelet. The atmosphere is so fun and comfortable. We went after Christmas and it was very festive for the holiday.
