The food was satisfactory, though it didn’t leave a lasting impression. That said, it was not disappointing. The decor was thoughtfully designed, and the atmosphere was pleasant, making it an enjoyable spot for lunch. However, for those seeking authentic Mexican cuisine, this establishment may not fully meet those expectations.
One thing, though, their New Year Special dessert was awesome!

I love this place! It has delicious food, great service and a fun atmosphere. It is large enough for big groups. There is a large fun bar area as well!  The best things to order are the margaritas, the nachos, the tortilla soup and the tacos Al carbon. Josephat was so kind and helpful, amazing customer service. I have hosted three large groups here and the food and service never slips.

This place is fantastic!!! Food quality is through the roof, service is good and extra fast. We adored the atmosphere and the tastiness of the food we got. We ordered two shrimp tacos, two zucchini quesadilla and a black bean enchiladas, along with a beer, a red sangria and a red margarita with a bottle of still and sparkling water. We spent about 155$.

Nice staff, good drinks, pretty good food. Easy to make a reservation, large space with cool decor, a bit warm inside. I got chicken quesadillas which were fine. The lavender honey jalapeño margarita was great, not too sweet, and with a kick. My friend got steak tacos, which she seemed to like. We shared chips and salsa. The salsa didn’t have a ton of flavor but was fine. Comfortable seating with large booths and tables available, and service was quick.

The food and vibe is great here. I’m jain and have many dietary restrictions. The server was very helpful and was able to accommodate 3 dishes as per our need. We had the Taco Mama, their entrees tacos (good enough for 2-3 ppl). Also, they have alot of margaritas and we ordered a few different ones (guava and pear ones are really good).

Medan vi utforskade området nära floden med WTC, sprang vi på El Vez, en varm och mysig burritobar på Vesey street. Vi älskade Dia de los Meurtos dekorationer, särskilt Elvis porträtt (vi är stora fans) vi hittade nära vårt bord. Vi stannade till för brunch och var glada över servicen, drinkar, frukost burritos och quesadillas. Mycket prisvärd, servicen var bra, och maten var utsökt och mättande. Vi måste komma tillbaka till middagen en kväll.

Bra mat. Inredningen är mysig med gott om sittplatser. Vår server Maria var en älskling, som ger rekommendationer om vad man ska välja från mejerifria alternativ. Vi åt Tlayuda till förrätt (SÅ GOD) , huvudrätt var kycklingtacos och tacos carnitas (goda, men blir fantastiska med stark sås; den varma såsen var eld! ) och en sida av riktigt goda grönsaker. Vi gick och kände oss uppstoppade. Rekommenderar definitivt.

Medan restaurangen inte var trångt på en kall regnig natt i NYC, stannade värdinnan, de hade inte ett bord som passar en och föreslog att jag skulle hitta en plats i baren. Bartenderna tog sju minuter, och ja, jag började titta på klockan, ta min drinkbeställning och även om jag var redo med måltidsbeställningen gick han snabbt bort och tillbaka till sin konversation i andra änden av baren med andra anställda. Ytterligare 5 minuter och jag hade dryckerna men fortfarande ingen middag beställning. Vid den här tiden hade jag nog och bad helt enkelt om min check, gav ett artigt tips och gick bekvämt till en restaurang tvärs över gatan för middag.
Jag skulle normalt ge en plats ett andra skott men jag tror att jag är klar med El Vez och kommer inte att rekommendera det till någon.

Vi hade en fest på sju till lunch. Alla tyckte om sin måltid. Jag hade Chicken Enchiladas. Det var mycket bra men för mycket enchiladasås som var mycket rik. Det spanska riset och svarta bönorna var bra. Kyckling tacos mycket mycket bra. Nachos var också mycket bra. Det tog ett tag att få vår check.

Hälsade varmt på en kall natt på en av våra favoritplatser. Platsen surrade ändå servicen, mat och dryck var toppklass. Läckra och vackra Fall Guacamole och Burnt Grapefruit Margarita startade oss på höger fot. Följt av två välsmakande och generösa Enchiladas måltider. Jag måste säga, det här är ingen Chipotle. Min burrito hade lite klibbigt ris som rörde sig varmt. Jag har aldrig ätit en burrito som fortfarande är snäll och varm. Jalape os var verkligen dåligt för mig, men förutom det var min kyckling burrito riktigt bra. Bättre än Chipotle och inte mycket dyrare heller.

Jag kommer tillbaka för deras middagsmeny som börjar kl 16 och har bra grejer som rostad kyckling och biff.

Enda nackdelen är att det inte är en sportbar och så ingen TV alls. Det är en plats att vara social. Ölmarkeringen är en bitter. Bokstavligen.

Älskar denna plats! Rymlig, bra mat - ibland kan tjänsten vara långsam men 85% av tiden är det bra. Favoriträtt är alltid mani mani tacos - YUMMY. Guacamole är bra liksom tacos. Det kan få s men högt men maten är alltid bra! Jag är på denna restaurang minst en gång i veckan för affärsluncher eller med vänner.

Rummet var så högt att jag knappt kunde höra min middagskompis. Guacamole var okej - inte bord sida gjort.

Snubblat på denna plats när du letar efter något annat. Mat var bra men det var mycket högt i restaurangen. Kunde inte knappt höra folket över bordet från mig. Måste ha varit en festnatt.

Samtidigt som vi väntade på att vår plats skulle gå upp i One World Observatory vi promenerade runt i de närliggande gatorna, såg El Vez Restaurant inbjudande och vi fancied lite spicier mat för en förändring. Vänlig personal välkomnade oss och vi kunde sitta vid ett bord som vi föredrog.
Vi beställde en tallrik Nacho Mama att dela, en är gott för tre som en starter.
Massor av val i tacos och enchiladas samt deras specialiteter.
Mat var bra och prisvärda.

Vi åkte till restaurangen min fru födelsedag med hennes två dotter och hennes sonson. vi började med margaritas och för aptitretare vi hade nacho mama mycket bra för entree min fru och jag hade tacos al kol för 2 kjol biffar och kyckling i en stor kruka bygga din egen tacos och hennes döttrar hade samma tror varje tänk var mycket bra . till dessert hade vi två klassiska flan mycket bra, tjänsten var mycket bra att. Den enda dåliga tanken behöver mer belysning på borden, mycket svårt att se vad du äter. vi kommer vara tillbaka njuta av hålla måltiden.
