I recently visited Elysian Fields, a Greek restaurant, and tried their calamari appetizer and grilled shrimp platter. The calamari was perfectly cooked, lightly breaded and fried to crispy perfection, and served with a tangy tomato sauce that added a nice kick to the dish. It was a great start to the meal and definitely worth trying as an appetizer.

For the main dish, I ordered the grilled shrimp platter and was not disappointed. The shrimp were fresh, plump and juicy, and had a nice smoky flavor from the grill. The platter also came with a variety of sides including rice pilaf, Greek salad, and french fries, all of which were delicious and complemented the shrimp nicely.
Overall, I had a great dining experience at Elysian Fields and would highly recommend both the calamari appetizer and grilled shrimp platter to anyone looking for a flavorful and satisfying Greek seafood meal.

I had high hopes since I’ve been waiting for a new restaurant to open in the neighborhood. This was disappointing at best. The eggs dish had absolutely no flavor to it and the burger was basic. The prices are too high given the quality of the food. That said, the decorations are great. I’d come here for a drink but definitely spend your money elsewhere for brunch.

We randomly bumped into this place while walking down the street. The menu is heavily Mediterranean. We ended up ordering a gyro and a salad with felafel. The food was good. It was also quite empty inside which was great for a Sunday late afternoon.

Went here for lunch/brunch on Saturday around 12:00pm. The place was pretty empty and we got seated right away. I got the Eggs Benedict and my friend got the chicken skewers. The food was good but when we asked for hot sauce they didn’t have any. Overall the Eggs Benedict were good, I was ready to give this place a 3 but then I tried the Baklava and it was delicious!

I ordered a few different items, i was told my order would be ready in 30 minutes, I did not receive my order until 60 minutes later. I don't mind waiting but unfortunately the food was also sub-par and inedible.

The spanokopita tasted of sour cheese, the spinach inside was very bitter and the pastry was barely cooked.

The calamari contained small pieces of plastic which we didn't notice until we consumed a few pieces, completely unacceptable.

The chicken breast in the grilled chicken platter was undercooked, very dangerous.

Our side salads did not come with any type of dressing.

The pita bread tasted old, also very bitter.

The beef kebab platter came with raw kebabs and overcooked crunchy rice.

I  contacted the business over a week ago for a refund, my email has not been acknowledged what so ever.

Most of the reviewers here must not have ever had REAL greek food. The food is not authentic (other than some of the names) and a real Greek person would be appalled that an establishment like this calls what it serves, "Greek" food.

The location is convenient to Columbia university, other than that I would recommend to stay away! Bad food, no drinks!
