Very busy, but great service. We sampled the rice balls, loved them. The gentleman before me told me he was ordering sausage with cinnamon and other spices, sounds amazing. If I lived locally would love to try their meats. This is our second time visiting, first was on a food tour.

Just got back from NYC and was looking for a quick bite to eat with my husband. Decided to just look what they offered and this little old Italian greeted us with a big smile. He made a few suggestions on what to eat but we settle on the Italian special and it was loaded with tons of prosciutto that was fresh, lettuce, grilled peppers and 1 sandwich was able to feed us both because it was that big. There isn’t a spot to eat inside but there are some seats outside. If you’re in the area it’s a must try.

We got three different sandwiches here; the chicken parm and chicken, mozzarella, pesto sandwiches were both good. The roast beef, parmesan, tomato, balsamic sandwich was very dry and not good which I why I’m giving it a 4/5 stars. The atmosphere was nice but there is no seating available so we had to walk down the street to find a bench. The price was a bit steep for a sandwich, but they are quite big. You could definitely share one sandwich between two people. Overall, I do recommend this place.

Hands down, the best sandwich in NYC. The Italian Special was phenomenal and the last bite was just as good as the first. Each ingredient was extremely fresh. My wait was short and the staff members were friendly and efficient. You cannot visit Greenwich Village and skip out on visiting this place
