I am a residential designer with 6-10 active luxury clients at any one time. The ONE element of Ferguson/Build that keeps me loyal and coming back is the wonderful, smart, quick thinking, fun to work with Sophia Vivaldi.  She consistently goes above and beyond to help me figure out what to do and what to buy. She helps with sourcing, and she has great style! I trust her.  Sophia takes the time (and patience) to educate me about products and then turns around quotes so fast I really wonder if witchcraft is involved!  When an issue does arise, and this is life...sometimes issues and challenges arise...  Sophia consistantly rises to the occasion with speed, class, and efficiency.

Her presence as my rep at Ferguson is responsible for many many thousands of dollars of purchases.  Giving you all fair warning...If I grow my design business to the place where I am able to hire more staff, please note I'm comin' for Sophia!  Give that woman a raise and change your company name to Ferguson-Vivaldi right away!

**Edit: My below review still stands, but I do want to thank James and Sarah for helping me to finally get my items picked up and my refund processed after a lot of frustration. Without their help I’m pretty sure I’d still be screaming into the abyss begging for someone to pick up a toilet from my house. So thank you very much, James and Sarah, you both deserve a promotion.**

Embarrassingly inept customer service. I cannot even begin to describe what my GC and I have been through over the past 6 months. We have waited MONTHS and MONTHS and MONTHS for Ferguson to pick up a toilet and refund us. The number of failed pick ups - the truck not showing up, the truck showing up and leaving without picking up the items because the driver refused to wait 10 minutes for my contractor to provide instructions, the driver coming but only getting the bowl but not the tank, the driver being scheduled to come back for the tank but not actually picking anything because he claims he called me and didn’t get an answer (he did not call me) even though he was not supposed to call me, he was supposed to pick up the items from the porch and instead he left it all sitting in the rain. All I want is my money back and I promise I will NEVER EVER engage with your company again. What a NIGHTMARE. And this is only half of it - there’s an entire other part of the story that involves the replacement toilet that they never dropped off and my GC had to personally drive to their warehouse in Maspeth to pick it up and pay out of pocket for it. Disgraceful. Also it’s worth mentioning that the reviews on this page are suspiciously positive. See their Yelp page for a more accurate collection of reviews. Many, many people have had a mind-numbingly negative customer service experience with this show room.

Jaime at Ferguson 58th Street was truly the best and someone we highly recommend.  She helped us choose all the hardware for our new apartment.  Without her, I don't think we could have completed this project as easily and beautifully.  She was attentive, patient and available.  We were so happy to have met and worked with Jaime and would encourage anyone who has a large project to request her.
