Visited on a sunny Sunday for brunch and the restaurant was only about half full. Staffs were friendly and professional with food  beautifully presented though flavor was a bit lacking in most dishes. Only 4 star for service because although staffs were friendly, it was a bit off and there were confusion with seating, a la carte menu availability, etc. Overall, still a good meal in upscale ambiance and unobstructed view of Little Island that makes this place worth checking out at least once.

Amazing authentic Korean cuisine. Genesis House is a must-visit. We ordered 'Tasting Menu.' The highlights of our meal consisted of a balanced mix of both fish meat and animal meat. Each course was served in moderate proportions, leaving us satisfied at the end. The staff were attentive and friendly, providing assistance throughout the session. Highly recommend!

Very nice atmosphere. Perfect place to just sit, sip and relax. I really enjoyed my Chrysanthemum tea while skimming through an awesome book. I would have ordered dessert or a snack but the waiter was not as attentive to me as he was to the couple in front of me. I cut my visit short. I do want to return soon for a plate tasting. Let's see how that goes...

Honestly would have given a 5/5 for food was it not for the last two dishes of the prix fixe. We were quite shocked, it started SO strong with amazing courses - great quality fish, well prepared, truly a wonderful dining experience both taste wise and aesthetically - and then suddenly SO abruptly took a hard downhill with the daengjangjjigae dish. What was that? It was like a train wreck we couldn’t get off of. It tasted nothing like what a good Korean daengjangjjigae should taste like, and it felt like should be served at those cheap hole in the wall restaurants. Did not belong on the menu. After that was the dessert which was also extremely underwhelming - that much rich flavor should be given in a smaller size, as expected from a prix fixe menu.

Atmosphere wise the restaurant is beautiful, but strangely so empty on a Friday dinner night. I do hope they get rid of the daengjangjjigae dish and change the dessert - if they do I can see them being up to par with the other korean dining experiences in the city.

enesis House is one of the most fascinating places I’ve visited—definitely one of the best car showrooms out there. I’ve been to all the car dealerships in New York and the surrounding areas, but this one tops them all.

The folks at Genesis have outdone themselves by turning a regular dealership into a free exhibit that feels like a modern art museum. The design and presentation are absolutely stunning and go far beyond what you’d expect from a typical car showroom.

They’ve truly created something special here. There’s also a restaurant on-site that serves Korean cuisine, which I didn’t get a chance to try, but I’m definitely coming back for it.

If you’re in New York, this place is a must-see—whether you’re into cars or just appreciate great design and innovative spaces.

Vi var här för att fira våra vänners förlovningsmiddag. När vi googlade såg vi Koreansk restaurang och verkar trevlig så såg verkligen fram emot det. Maten var totalt ok, priset är i presentationen och den trevliga atmosfären. Men sedan tog det en total vändning när chefen kom och berättade att andra kunder har klagat på våra barn är högljudda och kör runt. Ok. Barnens ålder varierar mellan 1 och 4. När chefen verkar trevligt klagade för första gången (ja hon klagade två gånger) sa hon att de andra kunderna betalar mycket för att ha en fin middagsupplevelse och frågade om vi kan stoppa barnen från att springa runt. Vi har två barn och försökte redan vårt bästa, men vi sa till henne att vi förstår det så vi kommer att försöka göra ytterligare innehålla dem. På den tiden tänkte vi kanske de har ingen barnpolicy och vi visste inte (våra vänner gjorde bokningen) . Sedan kanske 20 minuter senare lekte grabben med en vuxen och lämnade sätet två steg från bordet med ett högt/högt skratt. Chefen kom igen och nu sa hon att hon får fler klagomål, och frågade om hon kan erbjuda ett utomhusutrymme för barnen att leka, och kanske de är tröttare de kommer att vara mindre bullriga i restaurangen. Det var 8 : 30 pm, låg 50 s med vindbyar. Jag frågade om hon hade barn och naturligtvis inte. Hur tror du att barn mellan 1 - 4 år ska bete sig bättre bara för att de sprang runt ute i den blåsiga vinden efter ett tag? Jag klagade inte direkt - återigen tänker kanske restaurangen har ingen barnpolicy och vi visste inte - och sa att jag kommer att behöva tänka på vad man ska göra. Vi gick till toaletten, och där fanns ett skötbord. Så du tjänar familj med barn. Och vår vän som bokade restaurangen berättade för oss att de informerade restaurangen att det kommer att finnas små barn. Så nu kommer jag att ställa denna fråga, med rätta. Är det så här du behandlar dina kunder? Du tog vårt partis betalning, men vår erfarenhet är inte lika viktig som andra kunders? Om barnfamiljer inte är välkomna hit, säg inte åt oss att ta med barnen ut medan vi tar emot festens pengar.

Jag hade en underbar middag här. Utrymmet är helt underbara, vackert utformade. Servicen var utmärkt, liksom middagen själv. Det kimchistekta riset och wagyuknytena var de som stod ut. Detta skulle vara ett bra ställe att ta gäster från utanför stan, särskilt om du kan få ett bord i deras terrass trädgård med utsikt över High Line.

Vi hade höga förväntningar på denna restaurang eftersom vi har varit på Genesis restaurang i Seoul, Korea. 
Ingången var lite udda eftersom ingången såg ut som en bilhandlare. Men inredningen i restaurangen var mycket trevligt. Men det är ungefär det. 
Vi beställde avsmakningsmenyer som jag tror var 175 dollar per person. Middagsserveringen började med några lufttorkade grönsaker. Såg ok ut och smaken var inte dålig. Nästa var hamachi sashimi med kaviar som var $ 25 extra för kaviaren. Inget speciellt och fisken var inte god. Sedan kom ett sortiment av semi attraktiva smaklösa rätter inklusive stekt snapper, blandad skål med ris med sashimi som liknar en poke bowl Slutligen huvudrätten av kalbi som var så fruktansvärt att jag var tvungen att gå till herrtoaletten för att spotta ut. 
Och servitören försökte komma tillbaka med ett torrt nedlåtande svar för varje kommentar du gjorde. Han var verkligen irriterande och saknade all kunskap om fine dining. 
Redskap, dukningar var också otroligt billigt. Bordstabletterna såg ut som rostiga metallfat. 
Det är en ny plats i köttförpackningsdistriktet, men tyvärr var det inte en fin middagsupplevelse och jag kommer definitivt inte tillbaka.
