Hands down the best hotel in NYC. We love SOHO area so it’s a plus that this hotel is in the heart of SOHO. I have stayed at many spots in the city when traveling for work and this is by far the best. Now I’m spoiled! Quiet, clean, tasteful, very kind staff, beautiful fresh platter waiting for us, and no charge for mini bar snacks?! Truly a gem!

I can't think of a better place to stay for our first visit to NYC.  The Mercer Hotel is absolutely amazing! The staff at the hotel were so pleasant and accommodating.  From the initial reservation process, concierge, door greetings, check in, housekeeping, and during our visit, we couldn't not have been treated better! The rooms are very clean and well stocked with anything you may need. Most comfortable bed EVER!  The location is perfect for walking out the door and being able to experience the city.  Highly recommend the restaurant for the same treatment and incredible food! Thank you for spoiling us!

Super friendly front desk staff. Couldn't be nicer. However, when we checked in at 10.30pm, the room was freezing. So we turned up the a/c to the highest heat and went for dinner. When we returned at midnight, the a/c was blowing out cold air. We were cold all night.
There was also a strong smell of cannibas in the corridor outside our room, even though it's supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. The location is good, but for $1100 a night, it's not worth having to sleep in an igloo. We couldn't wait to leave in the morning.

Really beautiful hotel. It’s definitely, definitely catered more toward the young adults, especially considering its location in Manhattan as well — the whole vibe is very dark academia, instagrammable and chic. Not for like an older couple, I’d recommend the plaza or ritz for that.

The room service was so fast! Although overpriced, and I wasn’t a fan of the burger. I got the Mercer burger, which was incredibly over salted- they also didn’t deliver any water with it. Not super great. But you can’t beat those vibes. The area is really hot with young adults too, big party scene on the weekends.

Take it with a grain of salt though. (ha.)

Couldn’t speak more highly of the front desk stuff here. They all went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed and truly made our stay here wonderful. Special thank you to Travis and Jack who did a fantastic job with any of our requests. The rooms are beautiful, clean and modern and the location of the hotel is also fabulous. We stayed here for 7 nights and have no complaints whatsoever.
