Wow, what a powerful place. I walked the old train trail that is now preserved for plant life. Utilizing this path to walk a nice length.  It was so cold and still blooms to smell and feel.
The water with freezing winds, pockets of Sun heating me up.
I parked in a lot next to the water. 30 bucks for a couple of hours.
50.00 for all day.
Also, free parking in New Jersey and transit is 5 bucks all day passes. Did this too, had tea and took my time.
Remember to check cleaning street days so you don't get towed in Jersey.. Everyone is friendly and will tell you what days in that location.

Amazingly beautiful green space along the Hudson River on the west side of NYC.

Plenty of areas to sit and relax either on a bench or on the grass at one of the many garden areas.  The walkways take you along the river or through some of the parks that have been built for people and pups to enjoy.

Smart idea and NYC is doing a great job.
