Dining at Huso was such a treat. My first time at a restaurant of this caliber, and I was not disappointed. The buckwheat bacon consommé was possibly my favorite of the evening— it was on the side during the potato dish. The duck was outstanding, as were the scallops. We got to go downstairs into the kitchen so meet chef Buddha and see some of the action. The service was incredible and very attentive. Best dirty martini I’ve ever had as well.

I was lucky enough to get a table at Chef Buddha Lo's new Huso location in Tribeca (long wait). As the most winning chef on Top Chef (Season 19 winner, and Season 20 Global All Stars winner), it was a required stop on my trip to NYC. It did not disappoint on any level, phenomenal! I don't always take food photos, and have never documented every course (there are plenty here on the set menu), but the presentation alone blew my mind and required full documentation! The food was original, presented with perfection (butter wrapped pate with log shaped bread!) and taste sensations beyond the norm and so complex and delicious that it's one time I can't begin to explain the dishes (there is no menu, I can't even tell you the dishes). Paring cavier with chocolate stood out because that didn't sound like a real thing (it is, and it's amazing), and Lucuma ice cream was new to me!  You can choose a wine paring with selections for every course and for someone like me who doesn't drink, they have a sparkling grape paring. Honestly, the care that went into selecting sparkling grape juices from a vineyard proves how exceptional the experience is at Huso Tribeca. The restaurant has a seasonal set menu which is another exciting aspect with plenty of opportunities to dine here throughout the year.  Next time I'm back in NYC, I'll be back at Huso.

Huso recently reopened in a new location with a beautiful dining room and a kitchen that makes so much more possible.

Outstanding food with exceptional service. The dishes look like a work of art as well as being incredibly tasty.

The 12 course tasting menu took around 3 hours to eat, but it's time well spent.

My highlight was the foie gras which is served in a ball and was the best I've had, but everything was perfectly cooked - beautiful scallops, crispy duck skin, etc. Definitely worth checking out.

Dining at HŪSO was an experience fit for royalty—a true feast for the senses. The generous portions of caviar gracing each dish were nothing short of luxurious, enhancing every bite with delicate and perfectly balanced flavors. This was not just a meal; it was a culinary masterpiece. Each dish set off fireworks in our mouths, leaving us completely captivated. From the silky potato leek soup and the indulgent black truffle grilled cheese to the Hūso dog, foie gras & truffle terrine, beef tartare, and oysters, every plate was executed to absolute perfection. We couldn’t pick a favorite because every dish was an impeccable showcase of flavor, precision, and creativity. The portions were perfect for two, and we even left with a caviar order to enjoy later—packaged in the cutest cooler bag that kept it fresh for over 10 hours!

One of the highlights of our visit was meeting the one and only Chef Buddha Lo, Top Chef winner and culinary genius. He graciously took the time to chat with us, making us feel so welcome and giving us insight into the artistry behind the food. His attention to detail and passion for his craft shine through in every dish.

HŪSO is not just a restaurant; it’s an elevated experience that blends creativity, luxury, and flavor in the most memorable way. We cannot wait to return and relive this extraordinary dining journey!

Amazing experience! Service top notch - very attentive and knowledgeable.  Bravo Top Chef Buddha’s curated menu is thoughtful, pairs well with offered caviars- my faves Huso dog with endive “bun”, beef tartare and lobster capellini pasta are a must!
