Was craving for kaya toast and this restaurant came up. We liked everything, although I prefer the traditional kaya (coconut) and not the pandan flaviored one. The drinks in plastic pouches reminded me of how drinks are packed in SEA when I was a kid. Will be back to try their other dishes.

Kopitiam is exceptional for what it is- quick and reliable comfort food with extensive appetizer, dessert, AND drink menus. I ordered 3 of those sunrise drinks man it’s that good. Fairly priced, cozy atmosphere for dine in, flavorful food, and thoughtful menu items- even for someone who often find dishes to taste generically bland. Only complaint is the online menu layout can seem a little confusing so I recommend looking through the Grubhub menu, which also has pictures.
One of the best South East Asian restaurants in NYC so far. Such a breath of fresh air among many mediocre and generic restaurants even above this price range.

Tasty little casual spot. There credit machine was acting up so you have to use Venmo or cash app. But other than that it's a super relaxing 😌 spot. The food is appealing to look at and to taste. The portion size is good you will fill full after you finish. The wings are super delicious 😋. The tok Tok mee was good and the Street Style Oyster Noodles were super flavorful. The broth just blows you away. For drinks we hd the Lychee Bandung (Iced) and it hits the spot.

Ive never had malaysian food before and this place singlehandedly make me obsessed 🥹🥹 underrated cuisine likeee the food is so yummy and flavorful and COMPLEX. Writing what we ordered in the photo captions — perfect food to share with a group. I wanna try the whole menu tehee all the dish sounds so fun. My favorite so far is oh chien!
