The Big Apple! So many places to choose from when dining in New York City, deciding where to go and what cuisine to eat will be your biggest challenge. As luck would have it, we chose Thai and not far from our place in Manhattan we visited Lan Larb Esan, a cozy street front Thai restaurant.
A range of Thai beers and various wines to start with were offered which complemented the food just fine.
For starters we shared spring rolls and a grilled satay chicken. Both were good while the chicken had a lovely spicy gooey dip to be drizzled over enhancing its texture and flavour.
For the mains, we ordered a noodle similar to Pad Thai along with some plain sticky rice and Penang curry.
Overall, the food was lovely and if you are in the area and in the mood for Thai, this New York Times featured cozy place is a good place to visit.

I deleted my last review due to thinking it was too mean, gave them another chance & look. Besides the racist female cashier I thought it couldn’t get any worse. Please eat here at your own risk. Actually don’t eat here. This is sick. & Sad. A ROACH??!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s 2024 & people are still finding ROACHES in their food??? No wonder this place has a B as a Grade. ROACHESSSS IN THE FOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Roaches.
