Went here for an early birthday dinner since every other restaurant I wanted to try was booked for the holiday weekend. It turned out amazing. Food was delicious and we tried a little bit of everything! Truffle pasta was delicious. All the appetizers were great and the dessert was good too. Definitely get the coconut sorbet! Staff was so sweet and accommodating and helpful. Would love to go back again.

Really nice. Sat us out side ...  lovely food. Calamari is great and the gnocchi was great ... I know this because my boyfriend left me two scraps on the plate after he wolfed it down. My son loved the spaghetti it was so much he had it for breakfast. Martini was very strong so i was done for the night. No pics because my phone died except for the awesome view outside and the bread and tomato base spread was phenomenal!!! They packed some up for me to go.

I went here for a dinner with the family. The rest of my family said the food was delicious. It was a new experience for me to be in a place where the lights are turned down. The outside view was incredible as we walked back to our car. I have to say though, the food was a bit too bland for my liking, but I still will give it 5 stars and I am probably never going to go back.

I’m always very picky when it comes to Italian food, and L’Angolo is one of the best I’ve had so far. Growing up in Milan my standards when it comes to italian noms is pretty high - I have nothing against Americanized dishes (there’s a reason why they exist and I’m all for it), but when I’m craving homey flavors, I mostly just cook. Well this TriBeCa gem will definitely have me come back for more.

First off the interior itself is very nice and it’s a perfect location for a date - plus you can have a wonderful stroll on the Hudson River afterwards. They also have al fresco dining - which is such a plus when the season is right.

The food is absolutely delicious - and definitely authentic. We started our dinner with some arancine (rice balls) that were perfectly crispy on the outside and nice and creamy on the inside. Plus cheesy enough and paired with a wonderful tomato sauce.

The eggplant Parm was another absolute winner: flavorful, with distinct and perfect layers, and just like Italian grandmas would make it.

We had two pasta dishes: the pappardelle Bolognese and the Cavatelli Barese.

The pappardelle were cooked to perfection and the veal meat sauce was so so good! Flavorful and saucy enough to coat each thick strand of pasta.

The cavatelli - with sausage and broccoli rabe, were  exactly as they would make it in Naples. Absolutely recommended!

As far as dessert do not miss out on their homemade tiramisù: creamy, with the perfect amount of coffee flavor and with perfect layers of savoiardi cookies and mascarpone cream.

I’ll definitely be back for more - they have a Cotoletta that I need to try, as well as the famous pasta prepared in a cheese wheel and topped with truffles. I mean how can you go wrong with that?

Trust me you’ll love this place and it will become a staple in your restaurants favorites!

Nedslående upplevelse - - Jag skulle starkt avskräcka någon från att besöka denna restaurang, särskilt med många olika mer smakliga alternativ i Tribeca och Downtown Manhattan för den delen.

I slutet av vår måltid, som i bästa fall var medioker, kom servern med 20% gratulation eller vår lunchcheck för ett parti av tre. Ingenstans på webbplatsen eller på menyn anges att det fanns en sådan "automatisk erkännande", särskilt för ett parti av vår storlek. Senare fortsatte han på en miniläsning om hur detta var "standard" i gästfrihetsbranschen och att det är avsett för turister. Vi har aldrig hört talas om något sådant om obligatorisk erkännande (åtminstone i fall där det inte redan tydligt anges på menyn). Dessutom har vi varit stadsbor i flera decennier, för att inte nämna kunder på denna restaurang tidigare. Vi blev generade och förvånade över hela prövningen. Medan han senare erbjöd sig att vända "obligatorisk erkännande", var det inte förrän efter betydande motstånd och en begäran om att jag besöker restaurangen igen för att ha ett samtal med chefen. Det sista jag ville göra var att spendera ytterligare en minut i den här anläggningen.

Intressant sagt sa de att de alltid tar ut 20% tips till alla parter under lunch, och ingen har problem med det. Jag var skeptisk till detta själv eftersom jag inte såg några tidigare recensioner på Yelp som diskuterade denna fråga. Maten själv var OK för priset, medan tjänsten var blandad. Vissa fall inkluderar att inte fylla på våra glas vatten efter att de hade satt nästan tomma i flera minuter (vi var en av bara tre bord under lunchtiden), och frågade några av oss om vi var redo att se dessertmenyn medan en annan familjemedlem var fortfarande mitt i lunchen.

Ledsen att jag inte har något mer positivt att säga. Jag önskar verkligen att det inte behövde vara så, eftersom 90% av recensionerna som jag har skrivit på TripAdvisor / Yelp är fem stjärnor.

Så jag hade bara lagt upp i centrum med ett gäng människor som jag bara träffade eftermiddagen innan. Det gick ganska bra med tanke på! ! ! Vi pumpades och beslutade att "ta" lite lunch, italiensk stil.

Alla skrattade när jag beställde en Aperol Spritz. Jag brydde mig inte, det var en varm dag och träffade platsen. Förrätten var huvudsakligen en läcker boll med smält-i-munnen mozzarella, min huvud hade också en stor mozzarellaboll på en bädd av läckra gnocchi i pesto. Helt enkelt god mat i en klassisk miljö i Tribeca. Perfekt.

Den bästa biten, någon annan betalade och var tvungen att göra "utgifterna".

Vi åkte till L’angolo för min födelsedagsmiddag, och maten var god! Som jag är säker på att du har sett på Instagram finns det videor överallt av cacio e Pepe-pasta med rakad tryffel. De gör det faktiskt inte framför dig som det visas i filmerna! Pesto-gnocchi med burrata var också bra - vi fick det som en start för att dela mellan 4 personer som var perfekt. Annars var resten av maten bra. Det finns bättre italienska på Manhattan för säker.

Det var en torsdag natt och häller ner regn och varje restaurang vi gick in var antingen så högt vi kunde inte stå det eller annars snooty och berätta för oss att utan reservation behövde vi vänta minst en timme. Vi välkomnade till L'Angolo och behandlades som kungligheter!
Vinet var bra, vi delade en pasta första kursen och hade två kalvkött rätter - citronen en & marsala / svamp en. Båda hade otroliga såser och kom med precis rätt mängd potatis och grönsaker. Jag hade också den trefärgssallad som var stor, perfekt färska sallad perfekt klädd.

Jag är inte en efterrätt person av naturen och i allmänhet kan ta eller lämna tiramisu men detta var den bästa Tiramisu jag någonsin har haft! ! ! ! Jag tror att de använde vanilj i stället för vispad grädde? Allt jag vet är att det var enormt och vi slukade det med glädje - det gick bra med våra decaf Americanos. Den långa unga mannen som är ägare eller chef är en otroligt graciös värd! ! Några av waitstaffen var inte alltför erfarna - de blandade mitt stillvatten med gnistrande men chefen övervakade allt & gjorde vår kväll underbar.

Gick med vänner som vi ville italienska. Det finns faktiskt mycket mer på erbjudande än pasta, och vi hittade alla bra mat vi tyckte om. Jag hade en special av dagens aptitretare: lax tartar med avokado och gurka, som var både läckra, och också ganska lite protein. På den vanliga menyn beställde jag Red Snapper med spenat, som var snyggt fuktig med en krispig hud - precis hur jag gillar det. Jag hade italienska Cheesecake för öknen, som var fuktig och inte för söt. Allt presenterades mycket snyggt. Jag skulle rekommendera att gå av den vanliga pasta-menyn kan vara mycket givande här - lammkoteletterna på nästa bord såg läskande.

Förtjusande dekorationer, vänliga servrar, bra mat. Särskilt älskade den färska pasta kastade i Parmahjulet med raka tryffel.

En annan restaurang avbokade min ursprungliga bokning dagen innan, så jag hittade denna plats på öppet bord och bokade det. De kunde rymma vår grupp 7 ppl sista minuten som var stor. Jag har varit på några italienska platser i Tribeca och det här var överlägset en av bästa. Hörn plats så hade windows i fronten så kände sig rymligare. Vi satt på ett stort runt bord som alltid är bäst för en större fest. Tjänsten var vänlig och kunnig och vi alla verkligen haft allt som beställdes. Vi beställde och delade ett gäng apps inklusive burrata och bläckfisk och alla läckra. Min vän och jag delade fisken special och en pasta, båda verkligen läckra. Det var min födelsedag den veckan och servitörarna sjöng till mig på italienska vilket var så trevligt. Läcker dessert också!

L'Angolo tog över en rymdform av ett långt stående grannskapsort. maten är verkligen bra och förvånad över att fler inte äter där. Satff är så bra också

Trevlig meny och mat var bra men inte lika bra som priserna skulle kräva att det var.

Ragu var alltför salt och linguinen bröts i små bitar från att vara överkokta - kocken visste säkert att det aldrig borde ha fått gå ut ur köket.

Den hälften intresserade tjänsten var otrevlig och när vi frågade vad maträtten serverades på nästa bord var svaret "jag vet inte att jag precis börjat här".

När dina middagar lämnar sina nätaggregat 3/4 fullt kanske är detta ett tecken på att du borde fråga dem vidare?
Ofcourse om du inte då bäst säger mig inte mer förutom att jag inte skulle rekommendera att äta här.

På affärsresa med min man var jag ansvarig för att hitta en restaurang nära vårt hotell (kvarter från World Trade Center) där han / vi kunde vara värd för goda kunder (& vänner). Med så många turister runt WTC (vi självklart) OCH en bra vädervecka, ville jag ha en plats bort från massorna på WTC, med hemlagad pasta och avslappnad uteservering (& skulle inte krascha bankkontot). Detta val var en av mina bättre tack vare TripAdvisor! Medan inom gångavstånd från WTC (vetter mot Greenwich Street på hörnet av Duane), såg vi utanför kvällen som om vi var långt ifrån massorna vid WTC. Maten var fantastisk. . . . vi alla beställde någon form av pasta (hemlagad). Jag trodde att jag hade dött och gått till himlen när en av specialerna var linguine med rakade svart tryffel! ! ! ! Detta är det bästa jag har haft sedan Italien. Min man raved om hans gnocchi som gjorde våra gäster deras risottos och fisk förrätter. Salladerna var stora nog att dela (& läckra jag kan lägga till). Tjänsten - - när alla våra partier anlände - - var fantastiskt även om vi hade en kamp för att förstå specialerbjudandenna (vi accent - utmanade). Mitt enda förslag är att medan vi väntade på 2 av vårt parti av 6 att anlända, hade servitören återvände efter leverans av våra drycker, skulle vi ha beställt flera delade aptitretare. Servitören försvann tills resten av vår parti anlände (inom 30 minuter). Då var vi redo att beställa. Det var kul att äta ute på trottoaren (vi kände oss som riktiga New Yorkers tittar på grannarna walking dogs och plocka upp barn från parken tvärs över gatan). Men vi uppskattade inbjudan från personal att flytta in när vinden hämtade sig och det blev kallare. De satte oss upp vid en andra tabell inuti där vi naturligtvis bara behövde beställa kaffe och desserter (smaskiga).

Vi valde denna restaurang baserat på resan rådgivare plocka för italienska restauranger i NYC.
Med så många val i staden, litade vi på det valet och var mycket imponerade! Våra måltider var alla läckra med hemlagad pasta, skaldjur, kalvkött, sallader och kött och ost tallrik. Priserna var mycket rimliga och vänta tjänsten var snabb och hjälpsam. Vi rekommenderar starkt denna pärla i en ostron av ett grannskap. Det finns uteservering; Inredningen i restaurangen är liten, men mycket elegant.

Precis så fantastiskt som första gången jag äter här. Utmärkt betjäning. Vacker inställning.

Jag har nyligen ätit på L'angolo med en affärsförbund och vi hade en perfekt god och servicebar italiensk middag.

Menyn är traditionellt strukturerad till förrätt pasta och andra kursen. Pastan kan vara höjdpunkten - färskt, välkokt och med rika läckra såser.

Förrätter också mycket trevligt - jag hade kalvkött och min följeslagare hade fisken särskilda - väl presenterade och traditionella.

Vinlistan kunde ha varit mer omfattande och vinet på glasmenyn behöver också fungera. Tjänsten var inte alltför uppmärksam för en mitten av veckan middag - de kunde ha täckt tabellerna bättre med en lätt service.

Sammantaget, om du råkar vara nära - det är en anständig måltid - men inte värt att gå ut ur din väg.
