I’m 50/50 on my experience. The food was solid and I look forward to trying more dishes. But, I had a bad experience. I came in person to order a pick up order. I like to try to order directly with the restaurant so they don’t have to pay any unnecessary fees. I was quoted 10 minutes but they said likely even less. So I came back in 10 minutes. I waited in the lobby for another 20 minutes, even though I was only quoted

Amazing Italian pasta, this place is a must try!! I got past and Tiramisu which both tasted absolutely amazing. The workers were very friendly, fast, and helpful while ordering. Prices were very reasonable and portions were decently sized. I’m definitely going back next time I’m in New York!

I ordered takeout from here and it was excellent! The food was delicious and the portions are huge. I thought the vodka sauce was done very nicely, not too thick or oily, and had green onion for some crunch. Also, not sure if it was the restaurant, but the food came super quickly, which was awesome. Overall, I recommend ordering out from here and I hope this helps!

Not sure who is cooking up the food but the food is absolutely amazing. My go to for take out Italian. The portions are generous, flavors are great and service is fast. Broccoli rabe is always on my order and their Mediterranean salad!

Owner is also great and texted me to check how my meal was. Call them directly don’t use the apps to order!

Ah Lena's, a reliable neighborhood staple to satisfy all my Italian cravings. Sure, prices are a tad high and might turn some away, but the portions are huge, and if evaluated based on price of bite ratio, it's actually very well-priced. Think of it as: you'll def have leftovers, which you'll definitely want, since some of the dishes shine even more after the sauces have marinated a bit more. Not sure why I never wrote a review despite getting takeout from them for years; might be guilty of gatekeeping. Shhh. For tonight's Sunday night "don't feel like cooking let's order delivery to nourish our souls for the upcoming workweek," I got the pasta fiorentina with rigatoni (ALWAYS rigatoni for this dish because it takes up the sauce better), and a tiramisu. I always ask for extra sauce w the fiorentina - and always save the extra sauce to toss w my own rigatoni during the week (I know, it's genius right? It's tasty AND I solved one weekday meal); had a hankering for tiramisu because social media has been showing me a friend's trip around Italy and I'm drooling jealousy. Lena's tiramisu isn't life altering or mind blowing, but it does the job as a pick me up. Service is always quick. Food is always consistently good.
