We traveled to New York and had dinner here. The portions are really generous for a reasonable price. The orange chicken was absolutely delicious, and the fried rice was excellent as well. We also enjoyed the dumplings. I highly recommend the chicken and fried rice. I’d love to come back while staying in New York.

Ordered my favorite fried Cantonese noodle dish.  It was delicious!  So was the Vietnamese pork chop. The service was fast even during their rush hours. They earned my 5-star.

The starter was simple & nice. Didn’t really like the dipping sauce for the pancakes but that’s a personal preference.
The beef & broccoli was really nice. The broccoli had a lovely crunch to it. I’d happily return just for that. The other dishes were typical Chinese food.
They were just ok.
I do not know why this restaurant has such high ratings as it’s just ok, it’s not amazing. It was ok though.
Re tip- I understand the tipping culture in the US but they were very forceful on the amount that they wanted. This really spoilt it for me

Our first visit to NYC so we *had* to order Chinese food delivery.  Very fast delivery!  Absolutely excellent food!  Huge portions. We tried chicken and snow peas, beef and broccoli, pork dumplings, and beef lo mein.  The entrees seemed very fresh and were delicious. Dumplings were pretty good.  The beef lo mein was outstanding!  I could've just ate the beef lo mein.  So. Freaking. Good.

This place offers large portions to eat when you’re super hungry! My husband got the orange beef/chicken and it was amazing!!! We saw several people order the orange chicken, so it seems like a favorite. Comes with a side of broccoli and white rice and we would definitely request this again. I tried the chicken lo mein and while it was delicious, I would’ve preferred to have more veggies in it. The noodles were really great though, not too mushy, and a great salty taste. The fried pork dumplings and wontons were yummy and would recommend to share amongst 2-4 people. My friend ordered the spicy chicken Pad Thai here and it was a bit more mushy than she would’ve liked, so just an FYI for those who don’t like that. The service was great and after a whole day of sight seeing and walking, this sure did make us super full.
For those who cannot eat with chopsticks, this was one of the few grade A Chinese places that offered plates with a spoon and fork directly on the tables.

Vi besökte här i september 2025 . Portionerna är enorma, personalen är uppmärksam och vänlig. De förlorade en stjärna eftersom vi beställde brunt ris men fick vitt ris.

Vi sökte efter ”billig mat nära mig”, i Bryant Park/Broadway-området i New York City. Recensionerna var bra, så vi gick ut för middag på en onsdag kväll. Nej vänta, och det första jag märkte var stora soppskålar på borden nära oss. Vi valde currynudlar och apelsinkyckling istället för soppa, och vi var imponerade av Servicen, smaken och den generösa storleken på vår huvudrätt.

Härlig mat - låt dig inte skrämmas av den trötta inställningen. Portionsstorlekarna är stora & kostnaden är bra valuta för pengarna. Skulle besöka igen.

Provade Main Noodle House baserat på tidigare recensioner och säkert det var ett utmärkt val. Servrar var välkomnande och uppmärksam på våra alla behov. Tryggt att säga att konkurrensen om kinesiska restauranger i New York är som ingen annanstans. Från klassiska kantonesiska till Szechan, nudelhus, heta grytor, soppknyten, Dim Sum och fusion... Valmöjligheterna är oändliga... och det finns på nästan alla kvarter!

Mitt i frenesin i mitten av staden/Herald square sitter en liten, anspråkslös restaurang som heter Main Noodle House. Med tanke på läget, antar jag att turister går tillbaka hem och berätta för sin familj och vänner att de hade den bästa kinesiska mat de någonsin har haft! 
Om du vill ha klassisk, extraordinär kantonesisk mat... det är det bästa. 
Ägg rullar: fantastiskt. Nudelsoppor: en bra måltid om du äter solo. Ägg foo Yung: extraordinärt. Ja, de har Pad Thai och strimlad kyckling över nudlar/jordnötssås... och så vidare. 
Priserna mycket rimliga med tanke på midtown. 
Och personalen är underbar och tillmötesgående. 
Sluta googla "chinese near me" och gå bara till Main Noodle House på 6: e avenyn mellan 37: e och 38: e!

Aldrig smakat asiatisk mat så bra, utanför Asien. Hade två måltider med min familj under vår New York coty resa. Först hade jag pad Thai, söt och sur kyckling andra gången. Stora portioner och goda smaker. Rekommenderar det verkligen, av er besöker New York.

Jag beställde lunchbiff och broccoli som kom med ris och soppa. Allt var utsökt! Det är en mindre plats, men det är en cool plats att få GOD MAT!

Vilken överraskning. 5 av oss dök upp när det var fullt upp men vi fick ett bord direkt. Servicen var vänlig och effektiv. Maten var god och massor av det. Jag rekommenderar babyräkor med cashewnötter. Och sen fick vi en trevlig överraskning från räkningen mycket rimlig. Vi kommer tillbaka.

När jag äter på en ”lokal” restaurang för första gången tittar jag alltid på kunderna. Det här stället var packat med seriöst glada matgäster, allt från unga familjer, till äldre par, till vänner. Maten var fantastisk! Linjerna rörde sig snabbt. Servicen var effektiv och uppmärksam. OMG! Kan inte vänta med att återvända. Mitt enda problem var att portionerna var så rikliga att jag kunde avsluta vad som helst... vilket gjorde mig ledsen eftersom maten var så god! Tack för en så tillfredsställande måltid!

Bra kvalitet, bra portionsstorlekar, bra service och bra pris. Allt var nylagad och utsökt. Priset på måltid var jämförbar med vad du kan förvänta dig att betala i Storbritannien, tre huvudrätter med drycker för $ 75 , kommer definitivt tillbaka hit.

Om det inte var för den stora skylten ovan, kan man faktiskt missa att se denna anläggning som ligger på 6: e avenyn och mellan 37 & 38: e väst. När vi bor på Embassy Suites i närheten, gör vi det alltid för en måltid på Main Noodle House medan i NYC. 

Atmosfären är vad man kan förvänta sig för NYC - enkel och direkt. Servicen var verkligen vänlig och snabb. Min fru och jag älskade Mu Shu Pork. Det var hennes första - tid öster Mu Shu och hon är nu en konvertit. Att gå till Main Noodle House har blivit en av våra NYC traditioner.

Jag gick två gånger i 1 helg och hade bra erfarenheter varje gång. Fantastisk salt nötkött med strängbönor, men lite dyrt (även för Manhattan) . Det var trångt båda gångerna så det talar för hur god maten är. Jag såg en familj som väntade på ett bord, men jag satt snabbt i ett bord upp mot väggen som en ensammatsal. Jag kunde inte föreställa mig notan för flera personer.

Genomgående haft vår middag och service. 
Vi hade vårrullar, hälften anka och 10 ingrediens stekt ris, bra kom ut snabbt och mycket vänlig service.

Efter en lång dags turnerande tog vi tunnelbanan till denna kinesiska restaurang. De har en trevlig lunchspecial från 11 till 4 : 30 (mån - lör) där du kan beställa en huvudrätt som kommer med soppa (wonton, äggdroppe, varm och sur, eller kycklingmajs) och ett urval av ris (vit, brun eller äggstekt). Jag bestämde mig för broccolin med vitlökssås, wontonsoppa och äggstekt ris. Totalsumman var bara 11 dollar, vilket är ganska rimligt för New York. Servicen var snabb, och maten var utsökt. Restaurangen var ganska upptagen även vid 14:00 (när vi kom). Om du är nära 6: e avenyn mellan 7: e och 8: e gatorna, bör du ge denna plats ett försök. Jag kunde inte äta upp all mat; resterna blev till ett litet mellanmål eller lättare middag.

Bra mat, bra portioner. Älskade min wonton och stekta anksoppa och alla andra med mig älskade också sina beställningar: kyckling pad Thai, fläsk stekt ris och chow kul. Skulle definitivt komma igen.
