One of the best indian restaurants, where I ever eat lunch. The goat curry is delicious, the chicken masala is awsome. The staff is very friendly, prices are normal. I recommend this restaurant for everyone, who loves, and everyone, who wants to know the indian kitchen.

First timer .  Was walking by 34th street and was craving Indian food . Saw this place via Google reviews and wanted to try . I don’t think it is a 4 star ⭐️ restaurant like in Google reviews.  For me it is 2.5 star restaurant but gave it 3 stars . ⭐️

I actually didnt like ambience much . They play gurunanak song (high sound) and it was like a temple . I liked the music , but wanted a better ambience in a restaurant.. thali was about 20$ plus tax/tips - 26$ . There are so many other restaurants in Lexington which is much better and cheaper . Service was average ! The guy didn’t even give water till after 10 mins when I asked him. Took about 20-25 mins for the food to come .. place had a bar too.. .

Naan was good . Meat curry was good too. Like home made . Vegetarian curry wasn’t good . It was sweeeeeeeeet .  Didn’t eat the veggie food much . Dhal was ok . Overall a very average experience and will probably not go back .

Masala King is a fantastic Indian restaurant! The food was exceptional, with a great variety in the buffet—some items were completely new to me, and I enjoyed every bite. The ambiance was amazing, with lovely Indian music playing in the background, making the experience even more enjoyable. The servers were incredibly attentive, especially the guy in the cap, who went above and beyond to make our visit special.

I want to mention that gratuity is based on the number of people and the service provided, which is common in New York. Whether you’re at a five-star restaurant, ice cream parlor in Brooklyn, or a place in Little Italy, gratuities of 18%-25% are standard since employees depend on tips for their salaries. My family and I were very happy with our experience here. Highly recommended!

Came to this place to try Indian Food for the first time. The food was good, the service was alright. The place looks better in pictures. When we arrived, we got seated at a table next to that buffet area they have, and the line of people for it were literally breathing down our necks. Then there's the food. My dish was a coconut based goat (worth $23) and it was just a handful of tiny pieces of goat meat (mostly bones and fat) swimming in sauce... definitely not worth $23. The sauce was good and tasteful. The rice was nice. I also ordered the sweet naan and it was delicious. The waiter who said his name was Allan was nice... although the online receipt said his name was different. Overall, it was a decent and interesting experience. Unsure if I would come back though.

NO RECOMMEND AT ALL. THEY CHARGE FOR EVERYTHING.
MY HUSBAND AND I WERE TO DINE THERE WITH A PREPAY MEAL. We ordered one rice $5 extra from the amount and they charges “FEES” that I never saw before.
The bill AFTER our prepaid amount (JUST FOR THE RICE AND FEES was $30 (non sense).
My third time in NY, never saw this and this time I stayed 10 days. I had dinner in way different and better places, NOTHING LIKE THIS.
Server was respectful but definitely did not know anything about hospitality.

När vi anlände var det ingen runt, ropades sedan av en gammal man på baksidan av restaurangen för att komma igenom. Ett bord påpekades för oss när han gick av, han återvände med menyer och en kanna vatten. Hällde ut vattnet, varav hälften gick över bordet, som han varken ber om ursäkt för eller rensade, vi var tvungna att göra det. Han talade knappt.
Han försvann sedan i evigheter, återvände slutligen en tog vår beställning, även om jag var tvungen att be om ett glas koks. Ingen annan frågades och det var först efter att han lämnade insåg vi.
En kvinna tog över våra plattor som var stenkalla, önskar att de var lika varma som vattnet hade varit ett vattnet lika kallt som plattorna! Som denna punkt ville jag lämna men de andra sa att stanna.
När maten slutligen kom ut var riset knappt varmt, jag kunde hålla fatet en sked, det var så kallt.
Det enda tipset vi lämnade var för den medelålders mannen som kom till vårt bord halvvägs genom ett påfyllt vårt vatten, en spillde inte en droppe.
Kundtjänst var chockerande, inte konstigt att restaurangen var tom. Har aldrig haft en så dålig upplevelse på en indian, och vi äter regelbundet i dem.
Detta var den enda dåliga upplevelsen vi hade på en fem dagars resa till New York.

Maten här var stor - det är definitivt värt ett besök. När vi kom in på plats fanns en annan familj av 4 som är det. Samosas var över och aldrig påfylls. De placerade istället pakoror som antingen brändes eller halvkokta. Smeten på det var inte kokta.

Tandoori kycklingen serverades på bordet och det var hälften kokta. Köttet var rosa och gummiliknande. Ägarna svar var att jag var den första personen att klaga. Vi skickade tillbaka 3 tallrikar tandoori. När vi frågade servitrisen för det svarade hon obevekligt "vill du ha det kokt eller inte".

Kyckling tikka var som gurkmeja, chili pulver, salt och kyckling i tomatpuré. När frågade ägaren om det, hans svar var kocken är från Oberoi.

Skålen för öken kunde knappast hålla 1 gulab jamong och det kunde de inte heller hålla det tillgängligt. Det fanns 1 som inte tvättades. Ägaren sa att det måste ha placerats där av en kund. Sedan gjorde han en passande kommentar till servitrisen att endast indianer behöver skål för efterrätten.
Sammantaget en mycket ledsen upplevelse.

Mina kollegor i New York bestämde mig för att vara värd för min välkomstfest här. Ungefär 20 av oss. Händer ner till bra mat och service. Alla mina kollegor raserade om den stora lunchbuffén, sorten och färskheten av maten. Tjänsten var utmärkt och ägaren var mycket vänliga och uppmärksamma och såg till att alla hans restauranger gäster åtnjöt deras lunch. Att vara en indian påminner mig om hem. Livsmedelskvaliteten var A-klass. Denna plats är ett måste för att försöka om din nära Empire State Bldg.

Rekommenderade den föregående dagen att delta här men du vet hur det är - du lovar men tror aldrig att du kommer tillbaka eftersom det finns så mycket val i denna stad. Vi gjorde en samlad ansträngning för att komma tillbaka till 34 th Street för eftermiddagsbuffé / bankett och älskade det. Tjänsten är stor (vänlig men inte påträngande). Maten är exceptionell och vi äter indisk mat regelbundet så vi vet bra från dåligt. Massor av val och maten är verkligen välsmakande. Miljön var ren och välkomnande och priserna är exceptionellt bra värde för en "världs" stad. Jag tror att det här är ett nytt företag och jag önskar det bra, så snart det blir upptäckt, kommer du kämpa för att komma in.

Vi hade middag här en kväll på vår resa till NY stad. Tjänsten var bra och maten var OK. Inredningen var unexciting och belysningen var för ljus. Det var inte dyrt.
