The crispy rice sushi is absolutely the thing to get here. It’s a textural flavor bomb, with crispy rice and soft minced tuna, and a little bit of spicy mayo. A really good bite.

The rest is average at best. Judging this as a sushi restaurant, I’m not sure it compares to most others.

Both tempura and the MOMOYA spicy tuna roll from signature roll list are over expectation. The seared yellow tail in the roll has reduced the greasy taste on yellow tail commonly. Gyoza is average (on good side). But the spinach wasn’t really in the season, it’s like chewing the root of the tree. The sesame dressing in the spinach is also too sweet to me.

We came in for lunch, group of 6 .
Everything was fresh and well done.
The sushi and sashimi were delicious.
The spicy tuna fried rice great for sharing.
I ordered the Crunchy ceviche,was nice portion and the crisp fresh veggies were excellent.
One of our friends ordered a bento box,it looked great and had good variety of bites.

Friendly welcome, no problem with a walk-in, buzzy dining room. Nice choices on the menu, service was friendly but I felt a bit rushed when ordering. Food was good, fresh, good flavours and nicely presented.

Usually I leave good reviews but this time I have to highlight a few things: mushroom soup - it has mushroom in it and that’s all, it doesn’t have any flavor, veggies. Soba tempura soup had the same base soup with mushrooms and both of us felt sick in the stomach soon after. Steamed kale dumplings were good, salmon avocado sushi was ok. Place looks a little run down. Not a 4.5 in my opinion.

Det här stället var ett bra ställe att beställa sushi sent på kvällen. Vi beställde den kryddiga tonfisken och de kryddiga laxrullarna på nätet för leverans, och restaurangen hade ett köp - en få - en gratis special på den kryddiga tonfisken. Vi var i NYC för en semester i kombination med ett college besök. Vi är här på en söndag kväll, anländer till 5: 40, tio minuter efter öppnandet. Vi fick ett bord utan problem men i slutet av måltiden fanns det en linje ut genom dörren.

Personalen var artig och hjälpsam. Restaurangen själv var lite bullriga. Sushi var mycket välsmakande. Som en funky hummertaco bestämde jag mig för att kolla in.

Efter att ha ätit sushi på platser som rekommenderas på webben, läser jag om den här platsen i en tidning. En del dam sa att hon går dit en gång i veckan. Det lät intressant så vi bestämde oss för att prova det. Jag hade CHEFs urval av dagens bästa, den bästa sushi jag någonsin har haft. Jag vet att jag upprepar mig själv men jag har varit på minst två Michelin sushi platser och Momoya är enligt min mening bättre än de. Jag kommer att gå igen.

Momoya har bra priser på deras sushi, sashimi och rullar. Tjänsten var snabb och väntetiden var inte för lång.

Gick för sen middag igår kväll. Sushis var fräscha och snyggt presenterade. Hade gul svansrulle, spindelrulle, få bitar (Arctic char var utmärkt), räkor med huvud, havsborrar.
