Porterhouse Steak was good. Service did not feel that great. They could have done a better job considering the check cost about  US$550.
Atmosphere is kind of dated. Needs a little touch up. Have been to better places with amazing service for that kind of price. Taking pride in your brand and food is good. But, have to keep up with that kind of image for all customers.

Classic steakhouse experience and a million dollar view. Service is wonderful- they know what you want before you know what you want. If you are lucky enough to sit by a window celebrate with a Manhattan.  Of course the steaks are wonderful, but the hidden gem at our table was the Iberian Duroc Pork Chop. More people ravdd about the suculence and juciness of that chop than the steaks. A can't miss item.
Try the cookie plate and a glass of port to finish the night and enjoy the view.

Came here for lunch during restaurant week and had a wonderful experience. I really liked how they had their own mocktail specials. I got the shrimp cocktail which was huge and flavorful. The steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned really well. The dessert was supposed to be like a lava cake. There wasn't much ooze but still tasty with the whipped cream. All that for 40 (minus the cocktail) was definitely worth it!

We went for Restaurant Week and we were delighted. The place is fancy and has great service. I think the prices were super reasonable for what we got and discovered they have a similar option for weekdays lunch, which is super convenient. Everything was great but the desserts were on another level.

Just had my birthday lunch here, and it was AMAZING! Between the amazing service, delicious sour dough bread and butter, thick cut bacon to die for, the New York Strip and on top of all that the VIEWS, I had the best birthday lunch ever. Definitely has become one of my favorite restaurants in New York!

Vi hade inte varit i Time Warmer-byggnaden på åratal. Bara det var en trevlig upplevelse. Vi var här för att fira en födelsedag och de valde klokt Porter House. Inredningen är elegant, modern och elegant. Höftvibbar.

Vi var ett sällskap på åtta som firade min sons förlovning. Vi satt vid ett bord med utsikt över Central Park vilket gjorde evenemanget extra speciellt. Maten, servicen och atmosfären var alla mycket speciell. Jag minns inte när jag har njutit av att äta ute så mycket som jag gjorde på Porter House. Det är lite dyrt men inte skandalöst prissatt. Alla rätter var utmärkta men jag måste säga att porterhouse biff och pasta Bolognese var särskilt bra. 

Det här blir min go to restaurant för speciella tillfällen.

Jag valde denna restaurang för en speciell familj middag firande. Baserat på recensioner, och på dess läge framför Central Park, jag förväntade mig något riktigt minnesvärt. Istället kändes det som om vi åt på ett generiskt stekhus i Denver eller Houston. Inget emot de städerna, men det här är New York, och Porter House är känt för att vara ett av stadens bästa steakhouses. 

Restaurangen hade all atmosfär av ett köpcentrum - - jag antar att det är inuti en - - och bara ett fåtal bord hade utsikt över Central Park. Allt kändes ganska bullriga och utspridda, och definitivt inte luxe. Biffen var bra men inget exceptionellt, och våra startklyftsallader var särskilt medelmåttiga. När måltiden var över glömdes den bort. 

Det finns helt enkelt inget att rekommendera denna plats. Om du vill ha en stor steakhouse, Gallaghers, Keens, och Old Homestead är ett mycket bättre val - - med mycket bättre mat, atmosfär och värme.
