Used to be my go-to sandwich shop when I was in college. Food was surprisingly good for the price, always fresh. Would go back again but I have a job now and no longer live in Manhattan. Sometimes things are just better that way.

Union Square is my go-to location. I love the bang-bang chicken wrap! 10/10! Love their salads too. However, tea and coffee are horrible! Today, I ordered iced mocha which I’m not even going to have... It was made by an employee who kept scratching her hair/scalp and singing while preparing it. I saw her leaning over my cup and all I thought was her saliva and dandruff in my coffee. 😩 I should have refused my order but I felt uneasy to do that…. I’ve had bad experience in the past with tea as well but it was the taste not the way it was made. Safe to say, not ordering anything to drink there. Will probably go back for food eventually but not for a while because today’s experience really left a bad taste in my mouth.

Rude staff and such a rip off. I will never buy anything from here again. $17 for a bowl of spinach with a few scraps of chicken. The sign says $12 but after charged they said that’s the member discount and got rude when I asked why they displayed the wrong price or how you become a member. They clearly are here to overcharge tourists that don’t know much better options. The food stunk.

You pay at least $20-$30 only for a sandwich and drink at this location but even the bathroom is DISGUSTING. Not clean, no soap, no toilet paper, broken items, etc. Also tables and the floor is dirty. Bad management. I’d rather going to other options in the same area.

Edit after second try: Upstairs is closed for some reason. And this thing is the strongest thing I’ve tried to chew:
At least the bread is definitely not fresh. I paid $20 dollars for the wrap + small pudding. I don’t know why 😂 The price tags are different than the final prices. They said those prices are for the members after I asked the reason. But they never asked if I’m a member or not. Not only management but workers also need training. Not coming back for sure.

God färsk mat med val från sallader till soppor till baguetter och omslag, alla slags varm och kall dryck, bra snacks och bagerivarer också. Jag älskar den marockanska linssoppan och Cæsarsalaten.

Vi plockade upp frukost här på vår första dag. Det fanns mycket att välja mellan, men vi bosatte sig på några baguetter, briocher, croissanter och kaffe. Brioche och baguetter var bostadsbyggda och varma. Trots en lång rad var tjänsten snabb - in och ut om några minuter.
