Great venue for live music! The layout reminds of the Bowery ballroom but updated with modern amenities. The upstairs is the best part with a full bar and monitors.  Def want to see more shows here !

Racket sound effects are alright. I was there for three concerts in the last two years, most are fine. Waited 30 minutes in the windy cold night for Leah Dou’s concert this March. The door did not open on time. Not sure what happened, but it took them forever to check the audience in. I caught a cold and was very disappointed. ☹️

My favorite standing NYC venue! The ambiance is really nice, everything is clean and well kept and I enjoyed seeing Tender! Recommend priority seating. The acoustics are fantastic as well. 1000 percent recommend going to the venue.

NYC has a seemingly endless amount of cool live music venues. I may not get to them all, lol, but the ones I've had the luck to visit, all have this cool vibe; Racket joins the list of great experiences. Headed to the West Village to see my friend Alex Henry Foster and his incredible band the Longshadows; they certainly did not dissappoint on their 1st American tour! (Backstory: Alex and I met online (Instagram) during the pandemic as he saw my reviews of concerts I've seen in the past. At first, the texts were music based, our love of vinyl records and other common interests. As time went on, we developed a very close friendship, and Alex visited me in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, kindly signing his epic triple album for me! Years go by, we keep in touch when we can, and finally have a reunion at Racket! His set was incredibly intense, I had the blessing of meeting his band, his entourage of sound engineers, merch manager and his Mom! Alex carved out some private time for us, and I consider him one of my closest friends! Racket is a typical cool NYC venue, chill vibe, security low key, friendly bartenders, small, intimiate setting with perfect sound. Thanks Alex and everyone, looking forward to next tour, and if you enjoy live music, go experience Racket!

Recently visited for a show by Start Making Sense. What a fun night! The staff are all super chill and friendly. The bar was staffed properly, and our drinks were great! The restroom was cleaner than the one in my hotel! We spent a few extra bucks and bought elevated seating, and it was very nice and comfortable. If we ever make the flight to NYC again, I will definitely take a look at their schedule and try and catch another show here.
