I usually go to Rockbar on jockstrap night, and it’s always a blast! The atmosphere is super welcoming and inclusive of all body types, which creates a really positive vibe. The drinks are priced as you’d expect for a bar in the city, and the overall energy is just so much fun. Plus, the men—absolutely hot! If you’re looking for a great time with a friendly crowd, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

This bar has a totally different vibe to many places I've been to. No clicks, just good people who are welcoming and down to earth. It's small, dark but cozy in a way that's hard to describe.

It’s a pretty cool and chill gay bar by the river. I only go for special parties like the Fade To Black monthly party. Great drinks. Friendly staff.

This place has a great vibe and would recommend to anyone that’s in the “bear” category. Drinks are reasonably priced and the staff is very efficient.

Rock Bar ligger perfekt längst ner (eller topp?) Av Christopher Street precis vid Hudson River Park och Pier 45. Om du går in på Christopher Street från Piers är Rock Bar den perfekta introduktionen till den gamla Village-scenen och sätter referenspunkten för de lokala gaybarerna.

Denna bar är verkligen välkomnande och du kommer inte att känna dig som en främling inom några minuter att komma in. Det finns ingen särskild delmängd av människor (kan inte tänka på en bättre fras) som denna bar tillgodoser snarare, det är en eklektisk och välkomnande mix av alla som är både uppfriskande och charmiga.

Min partner och vi är i Rock Bar på vårt senaste besök i NYC 2013 och för att vara ärlig hade jag inte bråttom att gå tillbaka men sakerna har förändrats! Baren har tydligt haft investeringar gjorda i det och ägarna har uppnått den avskalade baksidan som den brukade ha men har städat den och det känns bara bättre med mycket förbättrade faciliteter.

Investeringen har också förändrat atmosfären och leder till personalens attityd med ett genuint vänligt och välkomnande tillvägagångssätt från alla. Om du gillar att träffa nya människor är det här platsen för dig, eftersom du bara behöver vara i baren i några minuter innan någon talar till dig, vara den personalen eller andra kunder.

Vi gick bara för drycker, men denna bar på 65 våningen i Rockfeller Center hade de mest fantastiska utsikt över New York City och Empire State Building. Cocktail var också mycket intressant och utsökt.

Jag gick in i denna bar upptäcker att de spelade på Smiths och att det var fullt av bär. Jag kan inte rekommendera det här stället nog!
