Love this spot for a fast and tasty meal! Super affordable and food was made fresh. Very limited seating available, you can only sit along the wall.

For the late night hours, convenience of location, swiftness of preparation, affordability and, finally, for the food itself. For all of these reasons it’s a definite five stars for me.

I’ve tried the palak paneer Frankie (spinach + paneer cheese), the masala unda Frankie (the most basic one with omelette and spices), the baigan bartha Frankie (fire roasted eggplant) and the mango lassi so far. What I appreciate about all the Frankies (& a feature they all share) is how fresh and vegetable-heavy and healthy-feeling they all are. —Not very common for quick, late night street food snacks. Decently filling as well. The masala unda one has a lovely crisp, fresh, “herby”, minty seasoning - it’s very nice. Mango lassi was delicious too.

To me you’re getting good value for money here.

This place really does have Mumbai Style Frankies. The non-vegetarian options are better. The chicken one with the egg was really nice. My complaint is on the aloo (potato roll). The Frankie was stuffed a lot with just potato sabzi which tasted similar to the one from samosa. There was nothing else in it apart from the chutney. It was too heavy at one point and I could hardly feel the roti. Aloo roll with some veggies and spice and not much stuffing would have been better.

Frankly Not A Frankie

I visited all the way from Brooklyn to uptown for this roll. But I was disappointed by the efforts staff made to serve me my order.

There’s a culture difference! Can’t expect a man who never had a Frankie in life serve my Frankie.

This is just Roti + vegetable or meat wrapped together.

Let’s talk about good things first: Pricing & Filling was fine.

Unsatisfactory element was thin Roti (as the name suggests) / not laccha paratha, no seasoning, just a basic green sauce.

Don’t order shrimp popcorn, it was not crispy or covered well with batter, oily and very bland. They don’t have good complimenting sauce options.

In short, don’t make efforts to go to this place, if you happened to be in the area. Grab a bite!

Ordered the aloo Frankie and the chicken malai Frankie. Both delicious and flavorful (would like more flavor to the chicken malai).

We also ordered the wings, which were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Excellent seasoning too!
