Well designed place. Perfect atmosphere for each hour of the day. We’ve been there for brunch. They serve special cocktails and some home made sodas as well. We had the Eggs Benny, Red & Golden Beets, bagels with other sides and ginger soda.
Everything was fresh and delicious.
We didn’t make reservations in advance.

Waiters are a little overwhelmed. If only they could  have some more help,  they can be happier. Food was good. Too little smoked salmon portion with the bagel plate.

This location doesn’t have quite the selection as the one in Houston, but there was no wait and I could sit down, both pluses on this rainy day.

The classic on a bagel is my favorite thing here and this location is no different.  Their Bagels are excellent.  These are my favorite bagels in town and I’ve tried all the “best” bagel places I could get to.

I even tried a black and white cookie on a friend’s recommendation and it was excellent as well.  Service was fast and the restaurant was clean.  I’ll be back.

Look, I’m not mad about it but I’m not over the moon extatique! I think I need to go back and re try some different items. All I can say is was decent.

Lox platter: 7/10
Bagel was mid (take into account I am from Montreal, so could not be the same as an NYC local). Would have like one more slice of lox.

Opened after the original location, this is the sitting version of Russ and Daughters, the most famous bagel in town. Got some caviar and latkes, which was tasty and then a lox bagel. Lovely place but it’s just too expensive due to the rent I imagine.

På en söndag, utan reservationer fick vi precis det sista bordet för 2 . Våra två söner gillade inte att göra resan från FiDi så det var bara vi två (som gamla tider). 
Vilket bra ställe. Stämningen, Servicen och maten. Allt var bra. Det matchade bra med varandra. 
Vi tog lite bröd med vanliga bagels och kladd. Och båda hade en söt "efterrätt" vid sidan av. Välsmakande och stora portioner tog vi lite att gå för senare. 

Vi smakade på äggkrämen och blev överraskade av smaken och konsistensen. Riktigt trevligt att ha haft en. 

Trevliga samtal med en av servitörerna om den komplementariska Haagse Hopjes söta. Det är ett Holländskt godis. Företaget som gjorde det, har inte detta godis i produktion längre. Efterfrågan var för låg antar jag. Synd, jag gillade dessa sötsaker mycket i Nederländerna. Det finns alternativ, men ibland kan man inte slå originalet. 
Så alla har något att äta på Russ & Daughters, så de gör en enorm beställning i Nederländerna och produktionen kan börja. Ger mig en förändring att köpa dem i vår butik hem: - )

Vi hade en fantastisk tid på Russ & Daughters idag! Ja, det var lite av en väntan, men vi satt snabbare än väntat. De tempar tydligt ut sittplatser så att personal och kök inte är överväldigade — vilket vi uppskattade. Summan av kardemumman: du kommer inte hit för en blixt - snabb måltid eller för att känna dig stressad. 

Vi beställde hem matzobollssoppan (otroligt, med mör kyckling inkluderad) , latkes som verkligen var av denna värld, och deras unika variant på tonfisksmältan — något jag inte kommer att glömma. Kreplach var också utsökt. Vi avslutade med vår allra första chokladäggkräm, som är ett absolut måste - prova. 

Personalen var trevlig, Servicen effektiv, och menyn är laddad med alternativ. Om du gillar kaviar, lox eller klassisk judisk deli med en raffinerad twist, är Russ & Daughters ett viktigt NYC-stopp.

Servicen, menyalternativen, de intressanta varorna och den långa historien om denna verksamhet är alla enastående. Det är verkligen en ära för dem.

Vi kom fram i mitten av veckan strax efter öppningstid. Det fanns tillräckligt med folk för att ge en bra atmosfär men vi hade inte bråttom och servicen var utmärkt.

Vi köade för en sen lunch på detta ikoniska NYC-café, och satte oss i baren vilket kändes som att vara en del av handlingen. Bartendern som också var vår servitör var vänlig och uppmärksam, och atmosfären är stor. Mina potatislatkes med äppelmos och min mans borscht var jättegoda. Väl värt att vänta!

@russanddaughters är adressen där du kan uppleva bagels på högsta nivå. Vi ser aldrig att de aldrig kompromissar med produktkvaliteten, både när vi bor i NYC och när vi besöker efteråt. Bortsett från deras historiska verksamhet som ligger i Lower East Side, serverar de på Orchard street med en middag - i koncept. Deras resor som startade 1914 av Joel Russ fortsatte i 100 år. Ville ha äkta delikatessmat och definitivt fick det. Det var fullt här på en slumpmässig vardag, men alla tog ett nummer och väntade tålmodigt på sin tur. Det finns så många val av bagels, inklusive gluten - gratis, och färskostar, inklusive vegan. De har också några söta varor, godis disk och kött. Fick en vanlig gluten - gratis bagel med lox, vanlig grädde, ost och lök, vilket var fantastiskt! Smörgåsen var mycket full, så definitivt värt det. Det finns inga sittplatser så kom ihåg det... De har två bänkar precis utanför.

Gick till Orchard street plats för frukost. Hade hört hypen i flera år och tänkte att vi skulle prova.

Platsen var upptagen vilket jag antar har mer att göra med deras namn och inte värdet.

Vi anlände innan de öppnade och det fanns en linje. Vi beställde en rökt laxfatet och och några latkes. Latkesna var tjocka och läckra. Jag gör låsningar men de är aldrig så tjocka! Det rökt laxfatet. . . himmel. Vi beställde Ida. Ja, det är $ 85 men delas mellan 4 personer med obegränsad bagels, det var en väldigt bra måltid för priset. Den skotska laxen och den härdade laxen från Pastrami var min favorit men alla 4 salmonerna var läckra. Inlagda tomater och morötter var verkligen välsmakande också. Ja, kom hit tidigt eller förvänta dig att vänta eftersom maten är precis så bra.

Stort urval av hög kvalitet i alla livsmedel från rugalach till alla typer av sill eller exotiska fiskar. Trevliga portioner. Mycket trångt lördag morgon. Dyr men värt det. Bra kaffe! !

Jag beställde den klassiska - skickade tillbaka första inaktuella rostade bagel som de ersatte med en annan gammal bagel. Del av gräddost var liten, lox var bra men delarna var små. Vi väntade också på ett bord en timme vid 02:30 på eftermiddagen. Om du letar efter en verklig New York gammal judisk deli-upplevelse är detta inte platsen och maten är hemsk

Jag börjar med att säga att jag är en rysk juvel så jag växte ganska mycket på denna mat. Det här är min barndoms smak och ingen överraskning - jag tyckte om varje maträtt här.
Enkel, färsk, läcker. Tjänsten var inte så bra men maten och stämningen var så bra att vi förlåter servitrisen.

Åh ja, vi var tvungna att vänta i 40 minuter i rad, men det var jävligt värt det! Du kan registrera dig och hänga runt området, vilket är riktigt trevligt, de kommer att sms till dig när din plats är redo.

Även om du besöker under öppetider kanske du fortfarande måste vänta på ett bord. Bekvämt, om du ger dem ditt mobilnummer, kommer de att SMSa dig när det är klart. Favoriter som potatispannkakor och blinks är felfria, och The Classic (Gaspe nova rökt lax, gräddost, tomat, lök, kapris) är smakfullt.
