Definitely not the best pizza in the world, but nonetheless a very convenient and tasty spot to grab a slice. They have a wide selection of pies, suiting any occasion. The pizza itself is nice, and I love the way they make the crust, as it is always perfectly to my liking, and doesn’t feel like cardboard. My criticisms are that the cheese is a little salty and the pepperoni pizza I got was surprisingly greasy, but overall a nice, welcoming spot to get a taste of some pizza.

I don’t understand how Salvos doesn’t have 5 stars from every reviewer!!! This will forever be my favorite pizzeria. The margarita slices are out of this world. YUM

Salvo’s serves a great New York slice! The service is super friendly and they’ve got plenty of seating for you to enjoy your za. If you’re looking for pizza in the UES, I’d recommend Salvos. The pepperoni slice was great, not too greasy or cheesy. The BBQ chicken was also surprisingly tasty!

Most people in NYC know that if you want good pizza, hit up BX, BK or Queens. Manhattan is ridden with too many cheap, inauthentic pizzerias that target tourists.

Salvos’s is one exception.

Their food quality, customer service and cleanliness are top notch! We were gracefully greeted and served by Evan, who is an excellent waiter and made us feel right at home. Then Gina, one of the owners came to our table and chatted for a while and gave us the story on how they came to own Salvo’s and completely turn it from a rundown restaurant to the quality establishment it is today. We’re excited to return soon for a more robust menu experience and to make a YouTube review video of the place! (I’ll post that here when complete).

Varning: Jag hade en pizza levererat två nätter sedan, och det var en av de värsta pizzor jag någonsin hade - var tjockt skorpan, delvis bakad och med mycket lite smak. Det var tvungen att vara gjort någon annanstans, eller av en ska eleven.

Detta är vår favorit i Peking pizzeria. Den familj som äger det är italienska och jag tror att såsen de använder är utmärkt mormor någon's - det smakar som om det är en hemlig familj recept som har varit gick förbi ner i generationer. Den mormor pizza är utmärkt!
