First of all, the staff is amazing. Extremely attentive and kind. I felt like royalty! Second, my arrabiata penne was delicious!! Desert was also wonderful. The general manager came out to thank us for coming and chatted with us for a bit and it just goes to show you how much they care about giving great service. Overall a beautiful and wonderful experience. I will definitely be back again. Meal for 2 people with dessert was around 125 dollars, definitely worth the price!!

We had high hopes for this restaurant, but the service ruined our experience. The waiter became visibly annoyed when we only ordered main courses and treated us as if we weren’t worth their time. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. Also we waited a lot for the food to arrive. A good dining experience isn’t just about the food, it’s about how you’re treated. We won’t be returning ever. Do not recommend.

We had a nice experience here. The lasagna was great and service was helpful. There was a slight issue with the light flickering above our table but the staff fixed it quickly. Overall we’d recommend it and would go back.

A meal at Sant Ambroeus is a “must” whenever I’m in New York. It’s in a beautiful part of the Upper East Side, away from the tourist crowds. The Caprese salad and soups are my favorite starters. I love the simple, yet delicious spaghetti pomodoro e basílico. The veal Milanese and the saffron risotto are other great options. I always leave room for dessert: the homemade gelatos and sorbets are delicious. There is an ample variety of desserts. Sant Ambroeus has the best coffee in New York. It’s also a good place to stop for a good cup of coffee and some dessert. The restaurant has a pleasant, yet elegant ambiance. The staff is friendly. I have dined there with my one year-old son, and they have always been accommodating. Prices are on the expensive side.
