One of if not the best Thai restaurants I've been to. Absolutely beautiful interior creating a fun yet intimate atmosphere making it perfect for a date but also for a family/friends outing. The service was impeccable and the waiter checked up on us just just the right amount. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. We tried many different plates and every single one was so good, unique and with such a multitude of flavors. The portions were also very generous. Our group of 4 left very happy and satisfied. I'm definitely coming back again when visiting New York next time.

Went to Thai villa after multiple recommendations from people living in NY.  We were visiting the city and wanted something nice for our anniversary.

What could be better?
The place indeed was nice but very cramped seating. I could literally hear the next person on the table left and right to me. Even getting up for restroom was difficult without knocking of their cutleries. The drinks had too much ice in it so hot over pretty quickly.

What was good?
The staff were sweet and took care of us. Checked about every small detail, made recommendation and attended to us well. The food was good and the quantity was good too. We enjoyed eating here. The flavours were all there.

What we ordered?
We ordered 2 drinks, one starter and two main-course and it was super filling.

We walked in Sunday at 4:45 pm, 15 minutes of them opening, without a reservation and found the place was abuzz already.

We were seated at a table and informed we had 90 minutes. We quickly scanned the menu and placed our order. The service was quick and the food was super yummy. I got the Royal Thai Fried Rice which was marked with 2 red *, indicating it is fiery spicy and I found it not spicy at all. I let the waitress know and she was very apologetic. I feel they make their spices and it is not always consistent, which is characteristic of several south Asian cuisines, including my own (Indian). The food was delicious and very flavorful! And presented so well too!

To make the experience more stellar, the service was so quick that we were done eating there in 45 minutes - half the time allotted us. The meal sated our hunger and when we left, we wished we were locals so we could visit the place again. The staff are super courteous and super effective, love them.

“We arrived earlier than our scheduled reservation, but that wasn’t a problem at all. The staff at the entrance were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was impressively fast. The only downside is that the seating is a bit cramped, as the tables are quite close together. Overall, a great experience!”

This is a wonderful restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere that truly transports you to Thailand. The food is excellent, bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. Every dish I've tried has been a delight, making it hard to choose a favorite. Jag skulle inte rekommendera Thai Villa baserat på min senaste erfarenhet. Trots att jag hörde mycket surr och såg attraktiva bilder på nätet levde verkligheten inte upp till förväntningarna. Utrymmet kändes extremt trångt och obehagligt varmt, särskilt där vi satt — vid ett bord på övre plan som saknade både komfort och atmosfär. 

Maten i sig var underväldigande och rättfärdigade inte hypen. Atmosfären gav mer av en ”turistfälla”-känsla än en genuin, högkvalitativ matupplevelse. Om du letar efter äkta och tillfredsställande thailändsk mat i NYC, skulle jag starkt rekommendera Pure Thai Cookhouse istället — fantastiska smaker, mycket bättre atmosfär och mycket trevligare överlag. 

Tyvärr, vårt besök på Thai Villa lämnade oss besvikna och osannolikt att återvända.

Bra plats för thailändsk mat! Vi beställde kycklingspett, grönsaksdumplings och medium - kryddig curry som huvudrätt. Curry och dumplings var spektakulära, och såsen på spetten var också utmärkt. Den Agave med Dragon Tattoo cocktail var utsökt. Priserna är lite höga, men platsen är vacker.

Vacker atmosfär, välgjorda cocktails och bra service. 
Jag var dock något besviken över prissättningen på deras meny och kvaliteten på maten. Köttet vi fick hade mycket fett på sig och var inte mjukt eller mört. Salladerna på deras meny var också mycket grundläggande. Ändå ingen hemsk upplevelse, men jag ser inte överhypen om det.

Åt lunch i baren här. Platsen är packad och livlig. Exklusivt. Utmärkt mat och bra service. Denna plats är definitivt värt att kolla in om du gillar thailändsk mat.

Atmosfären på denna thailändska restaurang var mycket charmig, varm och inbjudande. Jag älskar alla ljus och bakgrundsmusik. 

Maten i sig var helt utsökt, från grönsakscrêpeknytet, papayasallad, röd curry, pad see ew och kammusslingsspett. Den rika kokoscurryn gav aromatiska smaker. Var bara försiktig så att kryddsmakerna här betyder allvar, för när de betyder medium krydda menar de det! Men naturligtvis gjorde de sitt bästa för att anpassa sig till våra kryddnivåer. 

Drinkarna kan jag bara tala för litchi martini. Det är fräscht och gott med rätt mängd sötma. Jag får alltid den här drinken när jag är här. 

Personalen, särskilt vår servitris, Bee, var mycket artig och vänlig från början. Vi berättade för henne från vårt tidigare besök att de räckte alla våra förrätter och förrätter på en gång, vilket gjorde att vi kände oss stressade och inte kunde njuta av maten. Hon gjorde allt för att se till att vi inte hade samma upplevelse igen. Vi kände att vi blev omhändertagna hela natten trots att restaurangen var super upptagen. 

Även om vi inte hade en reservation och var tvungna att vänta på ett bord, var väntan understabil med tanke på populariteten och efterfrågan på restaurangen. Tänk på att det kanske inte finns lediga platser om du väntar på att få sitta. Det är ont om plats så du kan hitta dig själv trångt och stående runt. Dessutom, om du beställer ut för avhämtning se till att hämta din beställning omedelbart eftersom din mat lämnas ute i uterummet när du går in i restaurangen. 

Jag föreslår starkt att göra bokningar som denna plats är populär av efterfrågan. Med utsökt mat och vänlig personal kommer jag alltid att göra ett besök här när jag är i stan.

Detta är den "nya platsen" i NYC för en thailändsk måltid. Insidan är underbar med traditionella möbler och i en förmodad thailändsk stil ; atmosfären ska ta dig till en övre skala restaurang i Thailand och faktiskt intrycket gör sitt jobb. Bokning i god tid är obligatorisk. Menyn är omfattande och har rätter långt utöver den vanliga Pad Thai och liknande. Självklart kan jag inte avgöra om de liknar de riktiga men de är säkert goda, mycket goda och läckra. Jag föreslår att du beställer "thailändsk stil" så lite av nästan allt (ja, inte riktigt allt, som sagt menyn är omfattande) och dela; detta är vad vi gjorde. Liten matsal med bara några bord, men väl avstånd för en NY-restaurang - med rundor för fyra och två åren - kan du vara säker på att du inte hittar två toppar som fastnat ihop här. Smakfull modern inredning. Lite dyrare än väntat - vi tre i genomsnitt var cirka $ 25 per person innan tips för fyra appar, två nudlar / risrätter, en efterrätt, inga drycker. Maten var ok även om inget enastående. Larbkai var ganska intetsägande och den övergripande smaken på de flesta rätter lite för lika söt. De hade stekt fiskkakor som jag gillar som många thailändska restauranger inte verkar göra längre så det är ett bestämt plus. Efterrätten, kokosnötpudding - kommer i tre små rätter som är bra att dela med - var ganska välsmakande. Så totalt sett ganska anständig restaurang och ganska rimligt - inte dåligt med tanke på att vi bara gick av platsen och beslutade på ett infall för att prova det - en solid 3. 5 stjärnor.

En vän och jag kom in med en reservation på en fredag ​​kväll kl 19. Visas, vi behövde inte ens det eftersom platsen var tom. Var inte riktigt värt $ 10 IMO, särskilt eftersom det mesta var is. Jag slår vad om att de lagt till några happy hour specialerbjudanden, de skulle förmodligen ha mer affärer, särskilt eftersom det finns så många andra thailändska restauranger (med HH) i området. Hur som helst skulle jag deffo komma tillbaka för lite mer av det stekt riset.

Hon var rätt, den smaker var utmärkt, service, vänlig och effektiv och priser mycket rimligt. Vi hade Mussaman Curry, fulla nudlar, mör Papaya Sallad och Kao soja. Alla rätter var perfekt, precis rätt mängd kryddor, generösa portioner och några av de bästa Kao soja jag någonsin haft. Jag har provat en hel del Kao soja i Chiang Mai, Thailand och det här jämfört med bra med den bästa! Det här lilla stället är trevliga, rena och en perfekt plats för en avslappnad, utsökt thailändsk måltid.
