I went to The Met for their “Date Night” event, which happens every Friday and Saturday evening from around 5 PM to 9 PM. We arrived at 5:30 PM and luckily didn’t have to wait in any line to get in.

We spent some time walking around, admiring the art and sculptures, which was a great way to take in the atmosphere. There was also live music — a jazz performance, though I don’t remember the name of the band. It added a really nice vibe to the evening.

We took tons of pictures throughout, and overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. Definitely a great idea for a date or just a fun night out.

One of the best museum of NY! Also probably one of the largest because it’s HUGE. We spent almost 4 hours inside and needed to rush things to be able to see everything. You’ll need to organise your visit beforehand and start with what you want to see most. I personally recommend the Egyptian wing, the American wing, the European paintings & Decorative Arts. But really the entire museum is interesting and fascinating! Wished I had the time to stay the entire day there.

This is and art lovers dream. If your local you can pay what you think you should as long as you have a New York address and what have you but for visitors the going rate is average $30 bucks but totally worth all the history you and your heart desires. Plan accordingly cause it can easily take you all day to go through the entire museum and see everything from the wonders from Egypt to the armors of King Henry himself. It’s an immense adventure through time and a must see if your visitor or local. Be prepared for massive crowds of people at all times and during the weekday tons of schools and kids doing field trips. Still fun none the less.

AMAZING amazing amazing!
Recommend to get a free one hour tour!  Incredibly informative.  The place is so vast that I did not get to see everything.  Suggest to give yourself ample time to explore before your next activity.  Lots of seating areas in many rooms to give yourself time to rest and time to appreciate the your favorite arts.  Buy the tickets online.. to save time.

I recently attended Date Night at the Met on Friday and had a fantastic time. Exploring the museum in the evening created a unique and enjoyable atmosphere. While there were live music performances, as well as food and drink options, we spent most of our time admiring the incredible artwork. Despite the crowd, the ticketing process was smooth we waited no more than five minutes, and admission was pay what you wish. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I’d highly recommend, and I’m looking forward to returning!
