Such a cool spot. The drinks were excellent. The bar was packed, but we were eventually able to get seats at the bar. I am a sucker for live jazz music and this place did not disappoint.   I only wish the space was bigger! Will absolutely come back when we are in the area.

Loved this place! We first popped in because I heard about their happy hour which is from 4-6pm and offers very fair priced drinks, especially for being in NYC. They are a cocktail bar so food options are limited to small snacks; however, the marinated olives were quite tasty.

We were told every night they have live music beginning at 9:30pm. We went back and heard some wonderful live Jazz and enjoyed more drinks!! I recommend the mojito. The location is perfect if you are seeing any shows on Broadway or are near Hell's Kitchen or Times Square. Renne and Gianni were exceptional. Definitely will visit again when I find myself back in Manhattan.

A very lovely bar with live music after 9:30pm.

No need for reservations.

I ordered Tortuga and Old Fashioned with El Dorado 5yr. Love them both. The bartender is super friendly and makes great cocktails.

In the neighborhood I think it's the best place for cocktails.

Such a great wine bar with fabulous  live jazz. No cover charge or tickets but it’s only right to order drinks. There are basic bar food snacks to go with but well worth going.

The minute I walked in, Gino was ON IT. Being from TX, the southern hospitality sometimes doesn’t compare up north but I’ve never been happier to sit at a bar in NYC. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had in Midtown and would come back anytime just to chat with Gino. Thank you!!!! 5/5

Jag håller med många av de recensioner som också bor på Edison hotel gick in för en drink och att lyssna på musik oförskämd personal insisterar jag köper 2 drinkar vardera Jag var förmodligen på väg att eftersom vi skulle lyssna på sångaren men lämnade eftersom jag inte kommer att pressas att köpa alkohol

Jag har varit här några gånger, det är en bra bar i midtown som ligger nära Times Square utan att bli mobbad med människor som några av barerna precis vid det brukar vara, det är tillräckligt nära för att kunna gå för drinkar före eller efter en show och det har ett stort urval av drycker, rimligt prissatta

Vi stannade till för drinkar och för att lyssna på levande musik. Cool jazz och god rom, två av mina favoritsaker. Måste testa “Tortuga”, en av de bästa jag har haft.

Jag besökte NYC under julsäsongen med vänner och vi gick på gatorna tills vi kom på denna jazzklubb. 
Mycket nöjd vi bestämde oss för att kolla in det, det var lite av en linje för att komma in, kanske 10 - 15 minuters väntan på en söndag kväll om 21:00. 
Vi åt inte mat, det var mer drinkar och en bra stämning en söndagskväll. 
Det ser anspråkslöst ut utifrån, men det var en bra tid och jag rekommenderar upplevelsen. 
Musiken var mycket bra. Det var en underbar sista minuten upplevelse läggs till vår resa.

Vi bodde på det fantastiska Edison hotel och hoppade in för en drink efter en extremt hektisk dag (andra gången i NYC) våra 2 söner 21 och 37 ombads att visa ID rättvist nog ! Min mans skämt " hur är det med hans , " (han är 67 ) möttes av en bländning ! Vi gick för att sitta vid ett helt vanligt bord för att skrikas åt av en annan medlem av personalen . . kan inte sitta där om inte var och en av er tar minst 2 drinkar ! ! ! ! Vi ville bara ha 1 i det ögonblicket kanske hade haft andra om vi var välkomna . . . eftersom barstolarna var alla fulla vi stod i baren området detta är helt oförlåtligt när det fanns många tomma bord att insistera på en 67 år gammal står och fortfarande betalar för förmånen . . . HALLÅ ? ? ? vad händer här ? ? Åh vänta låt oss lägga till förolämpning till skada 21-åringen känner sig lite obekväm beslutat att inte ens ha en läsk att berättas av ännu en extremt ovänlig snd oförskämd medlem av personalen han kunde inte stå på golvet i baren dricklös trots att han var med 3 fullt betalande alkohol drickande vuxna . . nu Rom hus som tar det absoluta ordspråket ! kom igen Edison hotell inte svika dig själv med denna fasansfulla behandling av dina gäster du förtjänar bättre och det gör vi ! ! Det här är inte New York välkomnar resten av hotellporträtten! Vi vågade inte in igen under vår vecka lång vistelse men hittade många mycket Välkomnande platser i närheten där min man kunde sitta var han ville och min son kunde dricka koks kranvatten coctails eller ingenting alls utan att känna sig som . . ? ? . Jag har inga ord kvar. . PS Jag brukar höja betyg som jag vet gästfrihet är en tuff bransch Jag arbetade i det i flera år men Service med ett leende och definitivt en plats är ett måste ! ! ! !

Jag hittade denna bar under Memorial Day firandet, om du trodde att New York var upptagen en vanlig dag! Bra stil och atmosfär, vänlig personal och levande musik!

Icke välkomnande konstiga regler som aldrig upplevts i en bar förut. Vi var ganska glada över att ha flugit halvvägs runt jorden och släppa in i NYC och har en möjlighet att besöka denna plats. Bisarrt vi ombads att inte använda vår telefon för att visa menyn i mörkret och även att hålla våra stolar i en 90 graders vinkel i en 1/2 full anläggning. Aldrig ens brytt sig om en drink så kvar. Så konstigt... 
Mitt råd är att gå till en av takbarerna som är mer välkomnande och har utsikt som du går till NYC för. 
Spyglass eller street Cloud är en bättre insats och precis intill. Så tråkigt eftersom jag älskar min rom och aldrig upplevt detta förut. 
De andra barerna var fantastisk. Om du bara är i NYC för en kort stint ge denna plats en miss.

Tre nätters vistelse på The Edison och avsiktligt sparat vår sista natt för The Rum House bara för att svikas av en oförskämd personal. Vi gick in från hotellsidan och blev tillsagda att ta ett bord. Det är verkligen mörkt och vi är inte gamla människor utan tog fram telefonen för att läsa drinkmenyn bara för att bli utskällda över att vi hade en lampa tänd och vi var diskreta med det. Vi är proffs gjorda för att känna oss som andra klassens medborgare. Satt i tio minuter och tänkte att vi skulle hålla fast vid det bara för att ingen skulle återvända och vänta på oss. Vi gick.

Stor liten plats med omgivningsbelysning, levande jazz och stora drinkar! Server var utmärkt gav oss information om var rommen gjordes och deras distinkta smak. Detta kommer att vara min go to spot för att smaka och utforska nya rommar i NYC.

Tja ignorera alla dessa negativa recensioner om bartendern, han var fantastisk med oss och mycket tillmötesgående. Renee, servern var fantastisk, så vänlig och drycker serverades inom några minuter. Bra musik varje kväll vi var där, rekommenderar starkt,

En svagt upplyst atmosfärisk lokal. Golvservern var lovey sittplatser oss, ta emot beställningar etc. Musiken njöt mycket. En riktig upplevelse.

Poppade in för en snabb drink innan du åkte till måltid. Härlig liten plats med fantastisk inredning och god atmosfär. Stort urval av drycker, bar snacks och cocktails. Utmärkt livemusikprestanda när vi besökte. Värt ett besök!

Så många alternativ! Bartendrar vet deras meny och rekommendationerna är bra. Troy var vår bartender och han gjorde ett riktigt fint jobb. Visste exakt när vi behövde honom och inte irriterande att försöka sälja vad vi inte skulle vilja. Pretzel är maten att komma hit, färsk och varm, det bästa jag hade i stan. Sluta vistas långt senare än vi planerat. Vi var tänkt att prova en annan bar och vi stannade här i stället
