Suzanne is the bartender who keeps this place in order. She tolerates no riff-raff, she's charming and goes the extra mile to make your time there eventful.
Everyone loves Suzie and without her this place would be in shambles.

So I have mixed feelings about this place. Went on a weekday evening, and I do like the neighborhood sports bar atmosphere. It was right when the bartender was getting off her shift, so I had a chance to be served by 2. Really like the first one (too bad her shift ends before night kicks in) but the 2nd bartender didn't give us any attention when there were only 5 ish people at the bar. But for drinking ok tap beer and watching sports with others, it does the job.

Then there's the food. Absolutely horrible. It seems that the food is served by a different "restaurant". Two separate checks for the bar and food, and different servers (bartender for bar drinks and server for food). We had their 20pc chicken wings with 2 different sauces, and the sauces didn't matter; the chicken wings were the driest wings I've ever tasted. Fries were also super soggy. We left more than half of the food, and when we didn't ask for the box, the server asked why and we told her that wings are really dry. She said she would tell the chef but not sure if one feedback would really change the food much. We ended up with $90+ total for 2 beers, chicken wings, and fries. I wouldn't go back for the food but maybe for drinks when there's a game night.

Ok dive bar, though with few patrons when we went on a Tuesday, and not much vibe.  But our dinner experience was really not good.  Mediocre fried from frozen food, which took a while to come, and arrived in multiple batches.

Poor choice of craft beers ...food so-so and definitely is overpriced for the quality offered.

meatballs were undercooked/almost raw centers but I rather enjoined it..still not.worth $12....maybe $8

suggestions: get good craft beers... just look across the street Milk-and-hops or UNTAPPD app

The bartender angie is awesome!! Drinks are well priced and it's awesome that they have a pool table, dart board, and ski ball machine. The food is delicious and has a down south taste. Recommend the jerk chicken tenders and the chili cheese fries!! Also they had a great sex on the beach, Pina colada and spicy margarita!

Igår kväll 7/28/24 stannade några vänner och jag till för lite drinkar och mat. Ögonblicket vi gick i lukten av stället vände min mage. Baren var smutsig. Bartendern var oförskämd. Folkmassan såg ut som om de tog droger. Jag stod där i misstro och gick rakt ut. .

Hamburgaren var färsk och beredd perfekt. Kycklingsmörgås var också mycket väl förberedd och välsmakande. Vi åt under happy hour så med några rundor drinkar var den totala kostnaden rimlig för NYC.

Jag gick till Spotted Dog med en grupp vänner. Det var läckra och prisvärda, vilket är sällsynt på Upper East Side! Vår server var en John, han var en charmig, han gjorde vår måltid mycket roligare.

Vi tillbringade en nu ber timmar här beställer drycker mat och servoce var utmärkt. Vid en tidpunkt sätter de inte foidordningen genom och kompenseras med fria drycker och maten levererades sedan inom några minuter. Prova torkrosen cider; utsökt.

Svårt att känna sig välkomna i en storstad, men den Spotted Dog är lika välkomnande som de kommer. Tog en vän som behandlades på ett närliggande sjukhus och de kunde inte vara mer tillmötesgående av sina begränsade tillåtna livsmedel. Jag är inte begränsad och åtnjuter en bra version av fish n chips. Alla fyra av oss var nöjda med våra val och lunchmenyn är mycket rimligt prissatt.

Trevlig, mysig och avslappnad restaurang. Stor meny med massor av val, tyvärr var de av flera rätter natten vi var där. Fisk och chips var en träff samt vingarna.

Vi äter inte här men hängde ut för drycker. Stor personal, vänliga, bekväma. Bra ställe att tillbringa några timmar.

Jag har varit på lunch två gånger och deras lunchtid meny är ett mycket bra värde. Du får en soppa eller sallad med en smörgås eller entree. Mannen hade en shepherds pie som var ganska bra. Jag hade en kale, äpple, blå ost och bacon sallad som var stor. Deras stekt potatis kilar är krispiga, som jag gillar dem. Folksy dekor och snygging men de måste sänka musiken.

Maten var bra, platsen var packad och ljudnivån var utanför diagrammet. Jag kunde inte höra ett ord som någon sa på mitt eget bord. Ridiculously högt för en matplats på en lördagskväll.

Från det ögonblick som vi gick in i puben, blev vi gjorda så välkomna av servitrisen och chefen som jag tror att han var Paul en irländsk gentleman. Vilken härlig kör pub. Det kan se ut som det är packat från utsidan eftersom baren är på framsidan, men en gång i puben går du rakt ner och du har borden du kan äta middag på. När min man drick en flaska Heineken tog de mig en, som jag inte dricker alkohol. Sedan gav den till min man och sa att det är på huset så var det 4 glas Diet Coke. Maten är fantastisk ganska stora portioner men väl värt det.

Detta är första platsen vi åkte vid ankomsten på Manhattan. Vi hittade baren personal att vara mycket vänliga och välkomnande.
Vi anlände hungrig och och ville ha en drink och lämnade full full mage. Baren maten var utmärkt och de hälla drycker utan åtgärder!
Senare under veckan gick vi till middag och vi blev lika imponerade av tjänsten och kvaliteten på maten.

Stoppad av på en söndag för något att blöta fläkten med, och åtnjutit ett par välutvalda utkast öl. Visas populär bland damerna som stoppar för en chatt, en cocktail och lite fingermat.
Vi försökte lamm köttbullar, som var stora, välsmakande, utmärkt lätt kryddat och kokta till perfektion - - Jag gillade dem om du inte kan berätta.

Vi besökte Spotted Hund på en onsdag kväll och tyckte att personalen var vänlig och tillmötesgående, maten otroligt, och en stor urval av drycker.
Vi hade den fisk och pommes frites och Shepard's pie, både av som var utsökt.
Om du är i New York och sukta efter hög - kvalitet, fulfiling och läckra brittiska - stil gastro - pubmat, då kan jag inte tänka mig det mycket bättre än den Spotted Hund!

Cool plats/atmosfär detta område. Jag antar att det brukade vara en riktigt honky tonk-bar.
