We first visited this place just over four years ago as my partner was set on having a lobster roll. She liked it so much  that she insisted we visit again and it was just as good as the last time. I enjoyed the hand-made burger which was outstanding although we had no room for anything else! Lovely staff and good atmosphere (we were there at lunchtime and kids were welcome). Can really recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat having just come off the High Line or Little Island.

Our second time here. Parked right out front and easy to get  seated. Food is delicious. The Monkey Bread is a must even though we didn’t order it this time we got the  rainbow mimosa flight instead. Delicious fresh juices. Had to pa k the omelettes to go because they were so hearty. Definitely worth a walk outside of the Chelsea market.

We loved this place, the 'decor' was really nice, the staff was great, this was elegant without being posh.
The food was also absolutely well done, we would definitely come back in this restaurant if we are in the region.
Obviously it was a bit on the high side for price but nothing ridiculous either, so I thought it was worth every penny.

Note for information, we live in France most of the year so our 'standard' are really high, the The Standard Grill managed the exceed them ! Thanks again to the whole Team.

Food and drinks were amazing!! The restaurant is really nice/pretty and everyone that works here was super friendly and helpful. Restaurant has great vibes. Definitely try the king crab pasta!! Need to go back again soon to try the caviar tater tots!!

My coworkers and I came to The Standard for a team breakfast with the prix fixe menu. The food and service were mostly great, and the vibes were immaculate.
Main critiques: (1) Slowness. We told them in advance we had a hard out at 10, we ordered our prix fixe dishes around 9:15, and the food didn't start coming until around 9:40 (even though most of the starters were just fruit bowls or muffins). Thankfully our meeting was cancelled so we were in less of a rush, but this would've created a really unfortunate situation otherwise. (2) The steel cut oats were incredibly bland. I'd read a review that said the berries were brandy-soaked, but sadly that wasn't the case (maybe the menu has changed); anyway, it would have been better if the oats were served with a side of cream or syrup.
Other than that, we had a great time. The coffee was delicious and came with an itty bitty biscotti, the pancakes, muffins, and fresh fruit were all scrumptious, and the decor and general atmosphere were very warm and festive. Our waiter, Connor, was very friendly and attentive. I'd come back for sure, and would recommend it to others interested in hosting a larger team meal.
